Posts from Inferno tactics.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth...
I didn't say there aren't any good heroes! -(((((
Where are the REALLY GOOD heroes?! Yes, the heroes listed above are decent, and among the others in Inferno, they are even the best...
But let's compare them to other cities – almost every city has someone who stands out in some way: Adela, Solmyr, Kirr, Tant, etc. (see a separate topic)... that's what I meant!
Please, don't think I'm a demon-hater! -))))))
Adela is a good hero??? hahaha
Heroes whose specialty is casting spells (levels 1-2, buffs, etc.) are just as bad as their specialty! )))
Therefore, if I'm playing as Elementals, I take warriors because the mages' specialty is just one useless thing!!! Magic Arrow, etc.... Am I really going to shoot Magic Arrow when I have Chain Lightning or Explosion available???
---------------------
If I'm not mistaken, there's also a demon hero with a special armor skill, and he's pretty good too...
As for me, I usually play as Pir, just like vbn. At least she levels up her other skills properly.
Solmyr is a debatable choice, because even though he’s a powerful hero and helps at the beginning of the game, later on, especially on large maps, he doesn’t really stand out, and his spell often becomes useless... But Adel is good; she has a useful specialty and diplomacy.
In Inferno, I think there’s a lack of a hero specializing in attack with logistics and wisdom.
Marius - advanced armor
Nimus - advanced attack
Aiden - wisdom, intelligence
Khalid - wisdom, learning (I don't know if you consider learning redundant)
Zidar - wisdom, sorcery (seems not redundant)
Xarfax - wisdom, leadership (also seems useful)
but why Nimus? with the spawn of evil?
Rashka with his Efreets is better...
The specialization is good, but I still don't like him very much.
Nimus - portal of evil - pointless
Aiden - intelligence - unnecessary
Khalid - sulfur + teaching the main hero is unnecessary
Zidar - magic - unnecessary
Ksarfax - chain lightning is just ridiculous
In general, they are all terrible!
Marius - demons - pointless
Nimus - poison - pointless
Aiden - intelligence - unnecessary
Khalid - sulfur + teaching the main hero is unnecessary
Zidar - magic - unnecessary
Ksarfax - chain lightning is just ridiculous
In general, they're all terrible!
Are "Spawn of Evil" skills pointless? I don't think so. Additional defense and attack never hurt.
Intelligence is unnecessary? Aiden can become an excellent mage with a huge amount of mana!
Is Adela a good hero??? hahaha
Heroes whose specialty is spellcasting (levels 1-2, buffs, etc.) are just as bad as their specialty! )))
Therefore, if I play as Elementals, I take warriors, because mages have a crappy specialty!!! Magic Arrow, etc.... Would I really use Magic Arrow when I have Chain Lightning or Explosion???

If I'm not mistaken, the Demons also have a hero with a special armor skill, and he's pretty good...
It's permissible to laugh at your own mistakes - that's more polite.))
But I insist - Adela is an excellent hero because of the Diplomacy skill from the very beginning... having Diplomacy at expert level and some money (which is quite likely for the Castle, given the lack of large expenses on the initial army for clearing the territory - upgrade archers and halberdiers, and that's it!!!!)
you can, with a high degree of probability, quickly recruit units of levels 1 and 2, at least - and with this army you can clear a lot! at least by putting units from other cities under attack. And the Blessing that Adela has will allow archers to deal significant damage with their double shot.
Arandor, are you seriously saying that Diplomacy is an unnecessary skill???
hahahaha!!!!!

Are Spawn of Evil pointless? I don't think so. Extra defense and attack never hurt.
Intelligence is not needed? You can make an excellent mage with a huge amount of mana from Aiden!
Learning may not be that important.
Magic, especially with a specialization, greatly increases magic damage. Zydar turns out to be a good mage.
Chain Lightning may be funny, but it's given at the beginning of the game, and the hero doesn't have any extra skills.
Spawn of Evil - a small number of hit points won't make them good fighters, despite the increased attack and defense.
Almost all mages are offered the Intelligence skill, and Knowledge is also developed. There is a chance to make a mage with a monstrous amount of mana at the expense of everything else.
Learning - you put it mildly.))))
Magic doesn't "greatly" increase magic damage. only by 15%. if the Explosion spell, with expert level in Earth magic, takes, for example, 1500 HP, then an increase of 225 HP won't play a significant role in order to take up a slot... moreover, Explosion is not immediate and not always... on weaker spells, this is generally imperceptible...
Chain Lightning - I completely agree with you... it's really funny...)
But the absence of unnecessary skills is also good... for Inferno.))
How is it with everyone else?
Marius - advanced armor
Nimus - advanced attack
Aiden - wisdom, intelligence
Khalid - wisdom, learning (I don't know if you consider learning unnecessary)
Zidar - wisdom, magic (doesn't seem unnecessary)
Ksarfax - wisdom, leadership (also seems useful)
The Russian faction has the Literacy skill, which is unnecessary for the main hero.
The specialization is good, but I still don't really like him.
See, "sort of...sort of..." - truly good heroes don'
In battles, there isn't always time for blessings.)))
Why is Zidar a good hero (among all the demons)? He's just like Sandro!
