Greetings to all who love to grind out some games. This time, the organizers decided to showcase all the beauties of a Siberian winter: with snow, skis, frozen vodka, and bears... which is why the dates were chosen for the New Year holidays. We aren't making it in time—and don't want—to hold the 2014 Siberia Championship in 2014, therefore:

HEROES 3: SIBERIAN OPEN CUP 2014 or BAJIEHOK gathers friends

Dates: January 5,6,7,8 2015 (and don't let the dates confuse you, the championship will count toward the '14 season) in Novokuznetsk. The average annual air temperature is +2.1 C. On average, there are 280 sunny days a year; the average duration of the frost-free period is 123 days. Organizers include: BAJIEHOK, Kamikadze_nvkz, Black09, Antoxa_ipaq and several other unknown people; judging panel: Dirty_Player, Dust.

The "Gran" cottage is located 5-10 (actually 150) minutes walk from the "Mras-Su" ski resort. The “Mras-Su” complex offers its guests 6 different difficulty trails on the slope of Mount Muzuk-Tegey. The trails are suitable for both those who enjoy a peaceful descent and those who prefer extreme sports. Artificial lighting allows skiing in the evening hours. Two T-bar lifts operate on the slopes, using magnetic cards.
The complex offers a wide range of ski equipment for rent: alpine skis, snowboards, as well as cross-country skis. An instructor is available for beginners: individual and group training. Those wishing to see the beauties of the nearby snowy taiga can do so with an instructor on a snowmobile.
In general, to a very demanding taste it might seem a bit modest, but the priority was placed on: ease of transport, availability of food and a cook, skiing (leisure beyond heroes), and a modest cost for the whole session.
Rooms of different comfort levels will be distributed depending on the type of visitors (families, couples with children, and other unstable individuals will have priority in choosing rooms); others book in order of application. The final cost of stay will be the same for everyone, sorry about that.
There is a wooden sauna on the premises; it will be heated every evening, and the cost is included in the stay.
As for internet, other than a couple of MegaFon modems, nothing can be brought into such wilderness yet.
Meals: three times a day, without excesses. Fried eggs in the morning, soup for lunch, shashlik-plov for dinner. Everything will be prepared by a local cook and any guests who wish to help, if there are any.

ATTENTION!!! For those wishing to party hard and visit local dives, an apartment is being booked in the center of Novokuznetsk from January 4 to 5. The program includes: striptease, sauna, disco, blackjack, and hookers.

How to get to the campsite:
Going independently—not the best idea; you'll get lost and be eaten.

and from there set off with the local diaspora on reindeer to the Heart of Siberia, the Twice-Decorated Novokuznetsk.

Expenses:
Transport: Depending on departure point.
Tournament fee: 500 rubles.
Accommodation: 1250 rubles per day (includes: transfer to venue (return will be as it happens, some will clearly need a taxi), accommodation, meals, daily sauna). Equipment rental on the mountain, if you wish to alpine ski, is paid separately.
Meals: local cook, menu coming soon; in short: breakfast, lunch, dinner. Booze is in the local fridge; beer at 50 rubles per bottle obviously won't suit us perfectly, so we'll order something more expensive.
TOTAL: 5500 Russian rubles per person, including everything to the max for teetotalers: accommodation, meals, daily sauna with a birch broom, tournament fee.
The rental for 20 people has been paid; there is no turning back, the mountain is behind us.

Awards: Cup for first place, medals for first through fourth places. The prize pool is guaranteed to be 20 t.r., with at least 50% to the winner, and the rest to second-third-fourth place and the winner of the hero race..

So, we have only 4 days for the heroes, so let's keep up the pace. The tournament starts on 05.01.15, and we need to finish the last round by 08.01.2015. That means 1 day per round. It seems like that should be enough, but who knows how it will go. As all previous tournaments show, having HL+U templates significantly slows down the process, so 8mm6 and similar won't be allowed in this tournament.
