As I understand it, there are currently two main hypotheses regarding the structure of the Universe. According to one, the Universe is unlimited, and according to the other, it is limited. The first model is a conditional infinite three-dimensional sphere. The second is a three-dimensional surface of a four-dimensional sphere. I wouldn't even venture to guess which is actually the case, but I believe that one of these models is correct. And I would like the second one to be correct (Friedman is the author), as I find it more aesthetically pleasing. Also, in the first model, we are all destined for heat death, and I don't want heat death.
