Regarding the Small map, I don't know what was earlier (maybe there were fewer bugs or something else), the template itself is completely playable, provided three roads are generated for each player, which happens only 50% of the time (consequently, all other zones also get messed up), or even less, IMO that's why the template is crazy and turns into a lottery; maybe introduce some rules like a mandatory restart on a bugged generation? It would delay the start of the game, of course, but playing would be perfectly fine.
Well, that's debatable. For example, I don't like 3 secondary heroes on Small map; 2 or 1 is normal, you don't spread yourself thin. By the time you clear them, it's already week 3 and your opponent is already active in the treasure zone.
8mm6a is good because if you see that you're weaker, you can flee to 2 computers and fatten up there. But on Jebus Cross there's nowhere to fatten up; lose the center, and you've essentially lost the victory.
Well, that's debatable. For example, I don't like 3 secondary heroes on a smc [small map], 2 or 1 is fine, you don't spread yourself thin. By the time you clear them, it's already week 3 and the opponent is fully exploiting the treasure zone.
8mm6a is good because if you see you're weaker, you can retreat to 2 computers and fatten up there. But on Jebus Cross there's nowhere to fatten up; if you give up the center, consider victory given away.
Also, time-wise, IMO it's the fastest Diamond.
When three roads lead to three secondary heroes, that's a messed-up generation; meaning the opponent got one road to a secondary hero; normal generation is 1 road to ГО [the original Russian abbreviation], 2 to secondary heroes.
When there are three paths leading to three secondary locations, it's considered a chaotic generation. A normal generation would have one path to the main location and two to the secondary locations.
That's what I'm saying; I prefer the chaotic generation with one secondary location. The main thing is that there shouldn't be any penalties.
I've created a map for you with two secondary locations for each player. Feel free to use it. There are no paths that lead directly to the main location. The only exception is a path through a treasure location, but that's a common issue and can't be fixed. It can be fixed, but that would be a minor change.
Still, 3 months is not enough for statistics on Castles; this time, there is no one to highlight for the Necropolis. Nevertheless, here are the results of players who have played more than 5 games for a specific Castle and won more than 70% of the games:
