Too many rules and prohibitions, and tired of constantly following them, but "Anarchy" feels too cramped? Then this is the place for you! In this tournament, you can—and more importantly, must—play on any maps without any rules! Welcome to a world of lawlessness.
"Outlaw!"

I. Regulations and Deadlines.

Anyone may participate in the tournament who is registered on the HeroesWorld.ru forum for at least 3 months and has at least one game filed in accordance with the forum rules.
Tournament start – February 22, 2014.
The draw will take place on February 21, 2014.
Time limit per game – 2 weeks.

Tournament format - Double Elimination.
The final is played as a best-of-three with a 1:0 advantage for the winner's bracket finalist.

After the draw, a participant bracket is formed. After the 1st round, those who lose in this bracket form the 2nd play-off bracket. Subsequently, a loser from the 1st bracket enters the 2nd bracket; a loser from the 2nd bracket is eliminated from the tournament.

II. Rules and Maps.

1. Only the rule of fair play applies; everything else is permitted.
2. Game version SoD 3.2 (4.0) + HD-mod
3. The map is chosen by a standard draw from 7 maps. Blue starts drawing the map and castles (colors will be indicated in the bracket):
1) Jebus Cross
2) 2sm4d(3)
3) 8mm6a
4) 6lm10a
5) diamond
6) mini-nostalgia
7) Spider
Opponents may mutually agree to play on any other map, as well as regarding full random games.

4. Time per turn: Chess timer 24:8:1.
Starting difficulty 160%

5. Restarts – 111 + 112.
Please note that since there are no rules, technical restarts for blocks, a single road in ГО, lack of a road to the center, etc., are naturally cancelled. So use your restarts sparingly and carefully, rather than searching for chocolates.

III. Organizational Matters.

1. The tournament is unofficial.
2. The tournament is conducted according to the Rules for organization, conduct, and participation in tournaments.
3. Tournament Director - GoD (ICQ 647139286).
Tournament Judges - Dirty_Player (ICQ 408722873), Pit for LM (ICQ 471401475); Gomunguls (ICQ 499978341).
4. For every game played, participants must submit a report and confirmation.
5. Saves of all games must be kept until the end of the tournament and presented upon first request by the tournament directors or any member of the AC.
6. Disputed points, should any arise, are requested to be discussed off-forum. For resolution, you must contact the director or a tournament judge via ICQ and provide daily saves, ICQ logs, and other necessary information.
The same's decision is based primarily on the tournament rules. If the situation is not regulated by the rules, judges are guided by basic logic and gaming ethics.
7. All tournament games go into the seasonal rating. Reports and confirmations are written in this thread and will be copied to the "Online game reports and their confirmations" thread.
8. The Director has the right to make any changes to the regulations and rules during the tournament, as well as
the right to refuse participation to any player without a public explanation of reasons.

During the draft, I wrote that I was ready, but in reality, I was running around away from my computer and doing errands. As a result, I initially didn't pay close attention to the draft, but I got lucky, and we reached Diamond. Then I completely messed up... First, The_ eliminated the Tower, and I somehow missed it. In the final pick, I decided to go for my Tower against the Castle, eliminating the Dungeon. It wasn't very pleasant to find out that I had missed the Tower pick; I was left with the Citadel and Inferno. I chose Inferno.

The opponent took two early rests. In my first two turns, I built Goblin structures, but the map wasn't very playable (although both times I had a Demon stash).

In the end, after my 111th turn, a Demon stash appeared. Of course, we played on. However, the guard was Vampires. Also, the blue player's main town was visible on the map, but there wasn't a single decent hero there, so it was advantageous to fight against the Diplomat. It was immediately clear that the map was poor.

On turn 1, I placed Ifrits in the Citadel, and it was difficult to kill the Vampires. Also, thanks to the Ballista, I successfully cleared out the Demon stash.

On turn 121, with two Devils, I thought I had conquered the sea, especially since I already had around 45 Goblins. I went to free the hero from the green Demon prison. That's where I got completely beaten. It hurt so much that I thought I wouldn't recover. They destroyed everything I had, except for the Devils and 9 Goblins that barely managed to escape. It was very helpful that I had two Dungeon villages. First, I took a small Hive, then, with three Devils and several Ifrits, I encountered an Adela without mana, who stole the Hive from under my nose and, after my ransom and attack, bought it back.

Later, the blue Necropolis, which was generating 2000 resources daily, helped me and accelerated the blockade of the blue player, which the AI players were also helping to maintain. On turn 131, after buying everything I could, with 6 Devils, 4 Vivs, 12 Demons, 7 Pit Lords, 12 Goblins, and 5 Ifrits, I attacked the Castle fortification with Adela inside. There were 18 Vivs and 1 Angel.

Thank you for the game.

There wasn't much starting meat, and there wasn't much money. Only one-sidedness saved me, where I sent a couple of weak units, and they collected a decent amount of resources there. Also, the market helped me build Angels. I was just starting to get going when I saw the opponent with Devils and an Aislina. Maybe I should have surrendered the Castle and played diplomatically, but I didn't expect a Demon stash, and Redrash is an overpowered unit :D

Thank you for the game!

We completely powered up and went for it! Only mages and Bron came in, I decided to try leveling him up a bit, I see a Griffin Conservatory under the Castle, an external dwelling of archers and the opponent's Conflux, I find speed boots behind the zombies on 112, Not bad, grabbed them and decided to rush into the opponent, :smile13: I take his main and wait, then naturally got smacked by the arrow from the Conflux's master mages (lost all my archers), but under the Castle there's a Fortress behind the Cerberi :smile20: I barely managed to build cavalry in the Citadel and sacrificed them on 117, along with all my meat on the Harpies. I wanted to tell myself that's enough :smile38: , but on 126 another sacrifice, of more cavalry and archers, but I freed the Fort, and then things took off, I built birdhouses, upgraded them right away, rushed into the treasure zone, got max Griffin Conservatory and immediately Archangels. Collected quite a few Dragon Fly Hives, got very lucky with the treasure zone, it turned out to have 4 Dragon Utopias, Wings of the Phoenix + control, though I never found KZ (( closer to month 2 I spotted the opponent's movement and decided to take a risk, 4 Dimension Doors and reached the scout hero. Cut down a good amount of meat, the opponent bought back and ran off to another treasure zone. And I, deceived by the scouting overviews, dove into a nearly empty treasure zone with almost no mana at all( wasted about 5 days there. But I managed to scrape together another +7 angels (Archangels) with scout heroes and waited for the opponent. Then he showed up, decent power, but everyone had speed 6 and spell power stats, and I just happened to have a red orb in my bag. In Fire Bolt speed decided the game. GG
thanks for the game!

It would be more interesting if the reports described the strategy used – whether it focused on diplomacy, speed, or resources... I understand that's just a dream. But mentioning that the main character was given a diplomat is, in my opinion, essential! And revealing the secret of how a diplomat managed not to defeat a simple Beastmaster on the 7th week would also be great. I thought I was the only one who could do that.

I played without the Diplomacy skill because it didn't appeal to me. I resolved the situation by building a Fortress on a hill and using a lot of consumables. The opponent didn't have that, and his large stacks of 200+ swordsmen and gorgons, which weren't upgraded, were easily defeated by retaliating. I thought everything was clear. The opponent probably didn't have enough money because there were few ships, and I cut off half of his army on a lake in the beginning of the second month. There, I got 50+ bulls, 20+ unicorns, and 40+ sprites for free. I think I got lucky, but how can you play Heroes without luck? :D

Simon5760, thank you for the detailed explanation. And did you jump into the darkness hoping for a scout with a mace? The maphack is on point, though. It's clear that the opponent set himself up, accelerating to 21 is a deadly sin. But when you read some reports, it's unclear whether it was just bad luck for the opponent or if the most interesting part was missed.

Simon5760, thank you for the detailed explanation. And did you jump into the darkness hoping for a scout with a money bag?? The maphack level is impressive, though. It's clear that the opponent set himself up, rushing with 21 is a deadly sin. But when you read some reports, it's unclear - either the opponent had terrible luck, or the most interesting part was missed.
There was an entrance to the dungeon that I spotted from a distance, there was a tavern where you could see the opponents' heroes and their money, and I also got a vision buff by diving into the dungeon. And in general, I jumped in because I saw constant activity there, and then there was a lull for a week, and as soon as he appeared, I immediately rushed in. You can also recognize a hero by his appearance, by the way. Of course, I was very lucky, at the level of a maphack :D

Well, I won again, playing as Dungeon. On turn 111, a lot of super-heroes came. I couldn't reset, and on the next turn, I suffered huge losses on the ice elementals due to a teleport to the computer dungeon, but then I managed to recover quickly. On turn 121, I defeated 12 vampires with 2 constructs (3+2) and attacked from two sides.
Thanks for the game!

I believe that even if I didn't win, I gained a significant advantage already on the black)
Dungeon already has the strongest start + on turn 1 I build a thousand exp and push diplomacy to my native Jeditte! :smile15:
and, as usual, I try to fail the layout (before that, in a restarted game, Diplomacy went to Daremif, but Shakhtyor jumped on a stack of Harpies for a +6 shield -- they were standing right on the road -- and lost half the Troglodytes, restarted... also restarted by agreed encounter, when Shakhtyor on day 114 was level 10 with expert Earth)))) this time I jump on a stack of Ogres for a +6 sword, also on the road, there are 52 with Haste, but I lost only 14 Troglodytes, we play!
on day 112, already with upgraded Troglodytes, I break into a minimal Griffin Conservatory, the Angel is given to the dug-up Riland and he rushes non-stop, while Shakhtyor with the remnants of the troops breaks through another direction and takes an Inferno village
Riland with the Angel upsets the green Castle AI, I build horses there more for the sake of the speed artifact, the log rushes further, joins the blue and neutral Gremlins, smashes Pandora's Boxes with solid guards, fortunately attack under 15! on the 2nd front, Jeditte also has expert Diplomacy, the map is being explored, a mini native treasure zone...
...on day 125, Riland, having devoured a Pandora's Box for 10K experience and 10K gold, reached level 15 and didn't quite run to the Conflux village, the other slackers take the external dwellings of Dragons and Phoenixes, houses are being built, the slightly damaged by ballistics Mullich is freed, level 10, but with Logistics! :)
on day 126, the opponent, having not found a diplomat and not having uncovered anything decisive, reveals Riland's parameters and decides not to continue :(

thanks for the game, good luck in the lower bracket! :)
thanks for the game

thanks for the game!

I placed units in the Castle, took the opponent's Rampart.
Then I also placed units at the opponent's. Bought everything up, went to join. 70 Grand Elves were laid to rest in a max Dragon Utopia. Nothing worthwhile was given, but gold appeared. Though in the treasure zone everything joined for free. In the Dragon Utopia Treasure the Blue Key gave a, I sent Rylund to the tavern for mana, before the jumps toward the opponent, and I dragged the brigade by chain out of habit, although the scout hero from Dungeon could have Portaled to Rylund.

I never understood where the opponent came from, but he was heading straight for the scout hero with the brigade. For 50 thousand gold I barely pulled out the remnants - 63 Bulls and 212 Swords. But after the battle the opponent went somewhere, and the main question is why?

Rylund went to another treasure zone - but there joining is only for gold. I gathered a bit of creatures, opened the Surface Cartographer. Saw the missing Necromancy Boots, picked them up with 4 Dimension Doors, bought Goshun and sent him with Rylund to the same village where the first battle with the opponent was. The very first night - and the last.

Rylund is ambushed. The opponent's entire army is worth three Imps, but the Red Orb and stats decided it. Not meant to be
