Tomorrow, I'm going to the final meeting with the administration of the "Playground" club, which I mentioned earlier.
Based on the poll, there will be approximately 16 participants + about 7-8 spectators. Therefore, on the first day of the tournament (February 15th), we will need at least 16 computers, possibly more.
Regarding accommodation, this issue wasn't a major concern until recently, but now there are interested parties. My idea is this: if there are 4-5 people who need accommodation for a night, we can rent an apartment, which would cost around 600-800 rubles per person.
There's always the option of a hotel; there are plenty of them here, but you can forget about the 600-800 rubles price range. Hotel rooms start at 1300 rubles per night, and even those aren't centrally located (for example, the Alpha, Beta, Gamma hotel complex on Pervomayskaya Street; I've stayed there myself, and it's quite decent, but it's not close to the club or the train station).
Alternatively, there are many hostels in the city center, with prices somewhere between renting an apartment and staying in a hotel, depending on the quality of the apartment and its location.
In short, if you need accommodation, please let me know by the end of the week so we can resolve this issue properly.

Today I visited two clubs, PG and Xtenx, both located on Belorusskaya Street. Xtenx http://x10x.ru/: I had a long personal conversation with the club owner, and overall, the option looks very good. Pros: - 17 computers, the entire club will be at our disposal from 10 am to 10 pm on February 15th and 16th. - The price is 8,000 rubles per day. We might be able to negotiate it down to 7,000 rubles per day. - Since we will be renting the entire club, we can bring our own food and drinks, including alcohol, but we agreed to do so in moderation. Cons: - The computer arrangement is not ideal. One hall is in a semicircle, making it almost impossible to sit without seeing (even accidentally) the opponent's monitor. The second room has only 5 computers, so if we assume there will be 16+ participants, it will be difficult to accommodate everyone. This is the only significant drawback. Playground http://www.club.playground.ru/: Pros: - Comfortable seating arrangement. - Available from 10 am to 11 pm. - With a discount of almost 50% (instead of the maximum 30%), it comes out to 8,000 rubles for 16 computers per day. Cons: - You can't bring your own food or drinks, and you can't buy or bring alcohol. - We need an official letter from the "bookmaker" stating that they don't object to holding this tournament and violating copyright, which they somehow managed to get for the previous championship. A separate room without schoolchildren, Kazakhs, and admins who suddenly cut off access to the computer if you step away for lunch to hold a tournament is a big plus. In principle, since I live alone, you can fit more than two people at my place, but you'll have to sleep on the floor or on a one-and-a-half-meter-long couch. Regarding alcohol, I think if Gunnar doesn't come, there won't be any excessive drinking.
