It's not THAT buggy, but it does have some issues:D. Crashes happen, it's not very well optimized, but it's still quite playable. The Crusader with the Rune Priest can do wonders!

I don't know, I haven't experienced any crashes in the three days I've been playing.

Why is the number of saves written down? Is there a limit to how many you can save?:eek:

Well, I don't think he's exactly an "Ancient" being. More likely, it's just a reference to previous installments and, possibly, travel between worlds.

Among the references to previous installments, I found a book with a brief summary of the events of the 8th part of the game. And in the Kartal tavern, a nag is sitting and inventing the game "Arcomage".

Finished playing it yesterday. My impressions are good; personally, it met my expectations, unlike the previous installment, Heroes 6. Among the quests, I didn't find a saga dedicated to Heroes 7 and didn't wait a month to become a Grand Master of Secret Knowledge.
The crashing issue was resolved by enabling the page file (4 GB of RAM wasn't enough), and it didn't even occur to me at first that it might not be enabled by default.

You need to buy the griffin for real money. Go to Sorpigal. There's a chest there where you need to enter your bank card number and PIN code. And you'll get the griffin. :D

But seriously, the griffin is on the top floor of Portmeirion.

And where should I put it? I'm having the same problem with saves on two computers. In the XML file, I changed the Russian names for save, autosave, and quick save to English, but it didn't help. In the Orbit folder, there's only a folder named 46, and I couldn't find any save.ini file. It's really frustrating :smile05:

And where should I put it?

Extract it into the game's folder.
