Venue
Iksteniks Club, http://x10x.ru/, directions can be found at http://x10x.ru/kontaktyi.html; the entire club will be available to us during the time specified below. The club is small, so don't expect a lot of sofas/tables and other things; basically, there are only computer desks and computers, but there is enough space for the tournament.

Tournament start and end times:
Participants gather and register on February 15 from 09-00 to 10-00 am, followed by drawing lots and the start of the tournament at 10-30. The first day of play ends at 22-00.
February 16, the first games start at 10 am, ending at 21-30; until 22-00 we summarize the results and award the winners.

Tournament rules
The tournament will be held using a double elimination system in m200 format (the rules and templates are exactly the same as in Tournament m200 #9); in the lower bracket, the timer is 7+3+1, in the upper bracket it is 8+4+1. The expected number of participants is 16. The top three places will receive commemorative prizes and a cash prize, which is formed from organizational fees.
Organizational fee:
- 500 rubles per participant in the tournament
- 300 rubles per spectator at the tournament
Distribution of the prize fund: 1st place - 50%, 2nd place - 30%, 3rd place - 20%.
The cost of renting the club is 16,000 rubles for two days; this amount is divided by the number of participants; with 16 people, that's 1,000 rubles each.

For those who needed accommodation during the tournament, have you managed to resolve this issue? I won't be on ICQ until tomorrow evening. I am available on the forum or by phone.
P.S. there may be an option for an apartment near Domodedovskaya metro station, free of charge, for 2-3 people.

Spectator. The m200 format with an 8+4+1 timer is "perfect for us." A big request from the spectators is to not add anything else. The playground is good; it's in the same building as Yolki-Palki. I remember having a great time there with Tyoma and Vitya... Another option is a club on Tretyakovskaya: http://www.soyuz.ru/-/a/shops/more/z/city/125/id/PY, Pyatnitskaya, 29/8. Competitions have been held there twice; it's very close to the metro (intersection of three lines), and it's in the center. Within a minute's walk, there's, for example, Grabli, where people usually have lunch and dinner.

Game time: the first round starts at 10 or 11, and the second round starts at 15. If you're 20 minutes late, you lose a black piece; if you're 40 minutes late, you lose a colored piece; if you're 60 minutes late, you lose a black piece; if you're 80 minutes late, you lose the game.

No need to go to Pyatnitskaya... it's some kind of dump, with old computers and clueless admins.

It would be great if players from Moscow also participated in the tournament, such as vitalic (a frequent prize winner in online competitions), Eddie (who won all four matches in the Moscow qualifier for the CIS region, decisively defeating the VT players), Yama-Darma (now playing under the nickname wowa, a very strong player), Markon (one of the top players on the portal, a formidable player), and Pit for LM (one of the top players on HW, the winner of the last Moscow online tournament).
I believe the organizer has contact information for most of these players. As for Eddie, I don't have his contact information, and I don't know who does. Maybe Wicc or Sticky does?
By the way, Sticky's presence is a must, as people will be eagerly awaiting his commentary on the finals.

Skirmish is the most diverse, in my opinion, of all the templates. The balance is much better.

I will definitely come as a spectator.
I live in Moscow, so I don't have to worry about accommodation.

I'll be an observer – I can accommodate one or two relatively calm players.
