Wishmaster was in a strange state that night, as if he were lost. Which is odd, considering the simple structure of the world. Apparently, some kind of spell was cast on him, although he swore he remembered going where he intended, and then suddenly finding himself in a different place.

In the morning, Yashchura was being untangled from a net he had somehow gotten caught in, and a strange visitor came to see Menti. After her visit, the poor fellow looked clearly shocked and stared blankly at the drawing she had left behind.

Under Drakkosha's window, a beautiful singer was serenading her again, apparently she really liked him. However, while the hostess was listening to the singing, an uninvited guest tried to sneak in through the back door. He was spotted by a brave knight who was spending the night near Drakkosha's house. He stopped the suspicious-looking visitor, and, seeing a blade in his hand, prepared for battle. He was confident in himself and his equipment, so he began the fight in an open manner. This was his mistake. Despite all his experience and skill, he could not withstand the agile, fast, and cunning enemy. A barely noticeable gap in the armor – and the blade pierces the knight's flesh, and he falls dead. Heroist, before dying, only managed to utter in a weak voice: "You are either a beast, or a god..."
