Guys, can you help me out? I've completed the first two introductory missions, but the game keeps starting me at the beginning of the second mission, and the campaigns aren't unlocking. I have a licensed copy of the game. Can you tell me how to progress?

It’s most likely a bug. After the first two missions, I gained access to all artifacts except the last one. Maybe updating the game will help.

It seems like an obvious problem.
You need to play the licensed version with Conflux connected.
Because progress is saved on Ubisoft's servers.
If you play without connecting, the dynasty hero won't level up.

I must disagree: not east, but northeast of Valesk.
Regarding the second artifact, which is south of Necropolis. People are writing that they can't find it. It seems the problem is that one of the red heroes picks it up (or is already carrying it), and then they are defeated by Necropolis.
In the mission, there is a quest to defeat three heroes. I defeat the first one, and it says 1/3, and after some time, the message "quest completed 2/3" magically appears (even though the second red hero hasn't been encountered yet), after which the artifact south of Necroplis is no longer there.
I'm afraid I need to try a blitzkrieg.

Regarding the artifacts. I didn't want to be lazy. I checked. One of them is indeed located south, and more precisely, southwest of Necropolis, even before the turn to Necropolis. And it can indeed be picked up by a red player, who can then be "taken out" (the artifact is lost). But the enemy collector is not killed by Necropolis, as I wrote yesterday, but by "guard" mobs.

1) Is there no quest for the Necropolis at all, or does it only appear after a certain event? I took it, but just in case. 2) What is the purpose of this Conflux if I'm not going to play online? 3) How can I create profiles for the game, so that I can have my own different results for completing campaigns/missions, just like in Heroes 5 or 4?

1. The Necropolis quest appears later.
2. The Conflux is needed to save progress in campaigns and to choose different heroes on other maps, including unique ones (and not just the two standard ones – a mage or a warrior). It also offers dynasty-related bonuses, and you can create your own hero profile here.

I have the same problem – I can't "Upgrade the Mausoleum." Maybe it's because I chose the option "all cities have basic fortifications from the start" or something like that. I don't understand how to proceed.
