The situations are actually different; in some cases they didn't start playing as 4 and 3 are waiting for one, while in others games on the Hive have been going on for a decent amount of time + groups where deadlines were extended took care to explain how things stand rather than us 3 waiting for a 4th...
Also, I told you to play a new game as 3, for the following reason—your 4th player disappeared and there's no sign of him, but you started playing with HIVES and that's why the party is stalled... are there any other options here to play it differently, if not as a new game??
P.S. For everyone—this isn same show for psychics; if something is wrong in your group, state it concretely + communicate via ICQ rather than HAMMER, so that there are logs instead of one person saying one thing and another saying something else, making it impossible to know who among you is right.
What happened was a complete clown show, and to say "play as three" when there were still three days left on the deadline plus an extension—but let's take it in order. I didn't show up for the game on Thursday, I admit that; there was a valid reason. For that same reason, I didn't go to work on Friday either. I didn't know we were finishing the game on Monday; as for the ICQ message saying we were finishing on Monday, I don't know which device received it, because the connection was bad and I was playing from my girlfriend's place, from my PC, and I had ICQ set up on my iPad. On Monday, an SMS comes to my phone saying "we're playing, where are you" etc., "answer urgently." I appear within 15 minutes, write to Redwhite in ICQ, and he replies that they started as three and are already playing. I wonder how long they waited after the SMS? Two minutes?? In that time, I wouldn't even have time to go up to the computer on the second floor. Their actions are clear to me; they really wanted to get out, and as I understand it, Pir and Bishop had very little chance of winning the first match. On 122, Taz took a decent Dragon Utopia, on 123 the Archangels were already upgrading with that money, etc., and that's why they insisted on playing as three, where their chance to beat Redwhite 2-on-1 was 99 percent. And in general, the mandatory game time by default is supposed to be Saturday at 22.00, which only Pir couldn't play. We played three sessions during the week, and why the hell did I get a tech loss because I didn't show up on Monday—which I didn't know about—15 minutes after an SMS? I don't know; I was online on Saturday and saw no one.
We had scheduled a one-on-one duel (1v1) for Saturday, but Saturday didn't work for Pyre and Redwait, so we all agreed on Thursday. You didn't show up! What's the problem? If you had Red's phone number, you could have at least contacted him somehow.
I didn't mean to offend anyone with my post; it's just that it's difficult to connect in the 4th game. We had an agreement, and it was supposed to be binding. There's nothing we can do about the timing now.
1. We couldn't play on Saturday, so we agreed on Monday. On Monday, everyone was available, and we played. We decided to continue playing on Thursday, but something came up on Thursday, and I didn't have my phone with me. On Saturday, I checked and saw 0 messages. On Monday, after receiving a text message, I found out that we were playing earlier, but no one had told me this before. I arrived 15 minutes later, but everyone was still waiting for me. Sometimes, I would be 15 minutes late, and it wouldn't be a problem. I don't want to offend anyone, but I'm just frustrated.
It's not even about who came, but who didn't...
It's about double standards! If we had known that we could postpone it until Saturday, we would have naturally been against starting a new game!
Nobody knew about the extension until Monday! The information about the extension was only released on Thursday.
Due to the difficulties in running a tournament in this format, we will play without password-protected saves, so that each eliminated player does not become a problem for the remaining ones....
Each game has a 2-week deadline. Players can agree on a convenient time, but if no agreement is reached, the critical time for the game is the night from Saturday to Sunday of the first week. If it is not possible to play in one go, then in the second week. If the game is not played by the deadline, the judge or organizer has the right to set a mandatory date for the game (replay). If one of the players does not show up on the mandatory game date, they are given a loss, and the remaining three players play among themselves until the first loser is determined. If one of the players does not show up on the mandatory replay date, the organizer or judge loads the game for the absent player and performs a sequence of removing and exiting the game. This point is non-negotiable.
P.S. If you cannot play at the mandatory time, this tournament is not for you.
Passwords were introduced randomly. And if you read the rules, there's another mistake by the host. The time for the replay wasn't set, and he immediately said to start playing...
