Hey everyone! I'm presenting my hero project to you – Heroes III of Skill and Luck™.

I think that the mess on our forum bothers everyone to some extent. It takes newcomers weeks or even months to get used to it and even understand how to play Heroes online. And I think even experienced players don't enjoy having to spend half an hour each time searching for the information they need. And all this is because a single forum is not enough for a good community; a well-designed website is also needed.

It is quite possible that in the future, Heroes III of Skill and Luck™ will become an independent resource, but for now, while all my brilliant ideas are waiting to be implemented, it will be a website for HW.

The main goals of the project:

• Attracting new players to the community
• Accelerating the adaptation of newcomers
• Structuring the most important information from the forum
• Increasing the value of the rating (by displaying it prominently and rewarding players with cute monsters)

In the near future, I will gradually fill the library.

P.S. For now, I've uploaded it to a cheap hosting, let's see how it works. I didn't bother with Internet Explorer versions below 8, because it doesn't work properly. And even in versions 8 and 9, there are minor bugs that I don't know how to fix. So if anyone is still using IE, ditch this garbage and download a normal browser.

At first thought, it reminds me of the now-defunct http://dreamcatcher.metroland.ru/. It was also a separate site with auto-rating and all that. Games were posted both on HeroesWorld and there back then. It also considered which game it came from — from HeroesWorld, from HeroesPortal, or a repost. But then some personal ambitions arose, and some people only played there for a while. Eventually, the site began to fade until it finally died.

Ikhtiandr is great, it's a useful tool. It will be helpful for streamers, as a single link to this resource solves two problems at once: it eliminates the need for lengthy answers to questions like "which castle is the strongest?" and "how do I download the same version of Heroes as the streamer?", while also providing comprehensive information, and a beginner will be satisfied.

Very beautiful old-school design. It even motivates you to play for a higher rating – being a Necromancer is cool, you need to level up.

Regarding the development of an automatic rating for HeroesWorld? For example, if you talk to the creator, I'm sure he would accept help. And integrate an auto-rate into the forum. Many would be happy, especially those who calculate it manually :D. Plus it would be convenient — played a game, immediately posted it. You could sportingly farm your rating against noobs, competing with other farmers to see who gets more :D. As it is, with such an update, there's no intrigue without dynamics. And calculating it manually is inhumanely long and time-consuming.

There is a permanent rating. For now, I will update it as it is updated on the forum.

No, I don't want to sell my soul to local gods)) HW has long been in a state of suspended animation; there is no and will be no technical development here. How many years have we been begging for a chat and an automatic rating? These are not very difficult things to implement. To grow and attract new players to the community, we need to separate. I will try to create a full-fledged resource with an interesting rating and reward system. I have many ideas on this score. How soon I can implement this depends on the amount of free time and enthusiasm.
