How can it not be? Constant lag. Disconnections from the Conflux, terrible slowdowns on http://heroes-6-conflux.ru.ubi.com. And judging by how save files were disappearing, that's not the whole list. And all of this has been going on for at least a year.

I encountered some confusion during the game installation. I launched the disc with "Heroes 6: Golden Edition," and the game loaded and updated. I entered the license activation code that was in the Golden Edition box, and the game launched without any problems. Then, I inserted the disc with the "Shades of Darkness" expansion for Heroes 6, and the game reinstalled, restarted, and launched immediately without requiring a code. I exited the game and entered the second license activation code for "Shades of Darkness," but I was told that I already own this game, and the new code in the "Shades of Darkness" package was not accepted. And in Skirmish mode, the Dark Heroes are still not visible.

Damn! It seems I figured it out through trial and error. I didn't need to exit the game; instead, I needed to enter the "Shades of Darkness" activation code in the "unlock additional content" menu. It turns out that the Complete Edition is already unlocked, along with all the expansions. What a mess.

After that, I activated the code in the game menu, and all four sections with expansions at the top were unlocked. Among them, the third one from the right is "Complete Edition." I noticed that "shades of darkness" weighs more than the "gold edition."

As far as I know, to activate the "Complete Edition," you need "Shades of Darkness" and two other expansions, as all three are included in the "Complete Edition" package. The "Gold Edition" that I purchased already includes two expansions ("Dance of Death" and "Pirates of the Savage Seas").
Creating a new account is probably not necessary if you have old heroes, as the keys are linked to the old account, and the achievement data is stored on the server and should not be lost, assuming common sense prevails.
But if I had followed common sense when installing the game, I would still not have installed it.
