1st game for me on this template and generally the first semi-jeb in about 3 years on the HD mod. After the draw, I frantically asked in the chat what the build for Swamp was.
Day 1 start with 6 heroes, Tazar clumsily fights for sword+3. Scattered around, nothing much to speak of.
Day 2 cleared the crypt, and essentially revealed the entire respawn, 3 Dragon Fly Hives scattered, 2 Griffin Conservatories, but one is in the swamp and unclear which type, and in front of it there are 11 gr manticores. The other is a throne room one — convenient, near the road. The exit to the center from the bottom secondary is a day's travel. There's a third conservatory, noticed it when I went to the center on day 3-4 with gr, but it's very far. 1 lizard nest and 2 gnoll nests, that's basically it.
Day 113-114 gathering, a couple of crypts, pandora's box for 5 coins, level-up boosts.
Day 115 with the hydra I take the first mini Dragon Fly Hive, then the second pre-mini. And I found behind the golems a shield+4, what luck. Cleared all that, the pandora's box earlier gave 90 gnolls. Cleared a gr of cats on quick, got 15 coins.
Day 116 Maneuvers, defeats, mana refill, allied agreements.
Day 117 last Dragon Fly Hive on the respawn, and conservatory number one.
Day 121 Wyvern upgrade, conservatory number two. I'm in the center through 14 gr dracs.
The treasure zone was very poor, very poor, but I found a Tome of Earth and Titan's Plate armor — that's it! in 3 days, well, that was enough to give Solmir a beating, who had killed Monk on the rush with gr Wyvern, and with expert logistics.
Dungeon's respawn was just awful((, Conflux had good resources via utopias, but seemingly had big problems with meat.

My starting hand was quite decent, but I was very unlucky with ГО. No good warrior heroes appeared in the tavern in the first few days; I started leveling Ciele - but after a Pandora's Box with 10k experience, she got Expert Leadership and Catapult as starting skills, then Literacy. I switched to Malekit from the prison - he had Fire Magic and Logistics, and I took Pathfinding from a hut.
Dwelling spawns were average - 3 Fire and 2 Water, but gold was a huge problem; I couldn't even afford to buy the second Water on 117.
On the first week, I fully cleared the respawn, except for 3 bogjuice and 3 beehives. Found nothing substantial, no artifacts, the second and last Pandora gave 10k experience to Malekit. I built Birds in the fort.
On 121, I took the beehives - got 22 Wyverns. Malekit with stable bonus headed to ГО, but everything went wrong immediately :). There were over 40 Greater Unicorns; I had to spend all my mana. And what to do next was unclear. Either fight a dozen Titans and then almost 100 Master Genies and run along the road, or 50+ Fanatics and 20+ Wizards and run off-road. In any case, mana was needed, so I sat in a town to replenish.
On 122, after deliberation, I attacked the Fanatics anyway. There were 94 of them :). Combat stats were zero. They killed almost everything. Then it seemed I could kill Basilisks, so I took the army for them, attacked - but it turned into a fight with Wizards :). I came out with 12 Fire Elementals, and there were almost 50 monsters. In the treasure zone, there was nothing manageable - a few boxes behind those same 20+ Warlocks and 50+ Fanatics, and also behind Ogres. I did break through a hundred Ogres with 18 Archers and 1 Psychic Elemental, but they gave 20k experience, which I didn't need at all.
Building the Mage Guild also brought no joy - at level 4: Inferno and Prayer.
Well, Inferno did deal 350+ damage, and I was preparing to attack the Fanatics after upgrading Storm Elementals. I would have gotten 20k experience and 40 Greater Archers :). If I wasn't killed, of course. Fortunately, it all ended earlier, and Shakhter was killed.
