It depends a lot; if there's a Blessing or a Slow spell, it means the hero is a mage and doesn't need tactics. If it's the other way around, then it's the opposite.

In the Conflux, you can place a Grand Mage on day 111, so warriors will also have access to spellbooks. There are many options in general; I just gave the simplest one. Sometimes, you can even have 40 ducks by the end of the week.
