The European Championship concluded yesterday. Spain easily defeated a tired Italy and became champions for the second time in a row. They deserved it – there’s no question about that. It’s just a shame that the final wasn’t very exciting – complete dominance by the Red Fury, but still, congratulations to them.

But I found even more enjoyment in this article, which discusses the former, almost legendary, president of the Russian Football Union, Sergei Alexandrovich Fursenko.

Well, we were incredibly lucky at this Confederation Cup. There's no point in commenting on our team's game, as the morale factor is too important, and with us, it's always unpredictable. Judging by the game, our team is playing well, but after watching the game between Portugal and Mexico, it becomes clear that they need to play better. Will they be able to?
The game itself was impressive in its speed. The pressing, the accuracy of passes from both teams... And overall, it was beautiful! Mexico can definitely consider this match a success; a draw, considering the technical level of the other opponents, gives them a chance to advance from the group. And there's nothing to say about Portugal.

The result of the Cameroon and Chile game - welcome, Red Hot Chili Peppers! They completely dominated Cameroon. Learn, they seem to be saying, you pups! Excellent game!
