Hello! I bought the collector's edition of Heroes 6, installed it. Everything works, but there's one problem. When I enter a town during the game, everything might freeze and nothing responds to clicks. Can you give me some advice on what to do? Vostok174, you most likely installed a pirated version, which blocked access to the update server. Check if there is anything unnecessary in this file: \WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

I'll break it down:
I recently decided to reinstall Might and Magic Heroes VI: Gold Edition. I lost the game box, but it was linked to my Uplay account:

Although the game is linked to my Uplay account... Also, when installing the game, there was no Russian language in the list of languages.
Then I contacted technical support, who asked me to send them a photo of the manual with the key (and the manual is in the box) and the purchase receipt! Of course, I don't have these things...

I had to figure it out myself. I assumed that the key doesn't work because Uplay downloads the digital English version of Might and Magic Heroes with all the expansions, including Shades of Darkness, which is not in the Gold Edition.
That is, for the key to work, a Russian licensed version of Gold Edition is needed. I tried most of the available downloads on the internet for Gold Edition, but none of them work (they are all cracked, you can't even install patches on them, and they don't work in Conflux).
Does anyone know a solution to this problem, or could anyone share an image of the Russian Gold Edition? I would be very grateful for your help! Thank you in advance.

Please help me solve this problem! I'm starting the first mission as the Dark Elves. After the intro cutscene, when the characters start talking, the screen darkens after a couple of seconds, and it remains dark even after the conversation ends. The problem is solved by quickly pressing the "next" button. The screen darkens so much that it's almost impossible to see anything. So, I quickly press "next," play, kill the guards protecting the exit from the dungeon, and exit... and the screen darkens again (although the minimap remains visible). The only solution is to exit to Windows. Naturally, it's impossible to play as the Dark Elves with the screen like this. The game meets the system requirements; I'm running Windows 7, and it's the complete edition (with all expansions and weapons), the Steam version. Everything was fine until I reached the Dark Elves. I tried changing the video settings in the game, the screen resolution, and the mode (windowed) – nothing helps. Something similar happened, for example, in the cutscene before the battle with High Rokh, and in a couple of other cases. But in those cases, unlike this one, it wasn't critical! Has anyone encountered this and found a solution? Please help!

These are probably the only heroes in your dynasty. Create new ones / complete a campaign / purchase them at the altar.

I'm playing the regular official version (I haven't bought any expansions. I haven't played for a year. Now, when I enter the town screen, buildings may appear, or there may be a black and white checkered screen. Restarting sometimes solves the problem, and sometimes it doesn't. Help, has anyone else encountered this?
