Why is a conference needed when there is a forum?

For the same reason that ICQ and other similar programs are needed. You have to constantly check the forum to see if there are new messages; after checking 10 times, many people log in the next day, or even later. ICQ and Skype are interactive; you receive everything while online. However, in ICQ, you can only communicate through dialogue, while in Skype, all conference participants are interactive, like in a World of Warcraft chat, but with a moderator in the form of the tournament organizer.

Personally, as an organizer, I see the following advantages in creating a conference, which I don't have in other alternatives:

1. Mass mailing without having to select recipients for a long time (write, send, and all participants receive it).
2. An alternative means of communication. Often, a player is not available on ICQ but is on Skype.
3. Again, mass notification of all participants with a link to an important message in the tournament topic on the forum.
4. And most importantly, direct communication between participants creates a special atmosphere and gives players who want to be involved the opportunity to be part of all the events.

Guys, the pre-release test of the patch is over =) So, I'm posting it for everyone to see.

Changes
1. At the start, all players receive 2500 gold and 5 ore.
2. The following will not appear on random maps:
- Cartographer
- Hillfort
- Grail Obelisks
- Outer Markets =)

Installation Instructions:
Copy the contents of the archive into the root folder of Heroes. Launch the HD patch launcher and connect it as a module. This patch must be installed by both players, otherwise there will be no connection :cool:

So, please test it and post any bugs in this thread.

Sometimes, having 5 "Buratins" is much more useful than having 5 "Shamblers" in certain situations.
