An American writer who works in various genres, including horror, thriller, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and drama. Over 350 million copies of his books have been sold, and several films and television adaptations have been made based on them, as well as comics.
Among people, especially those who love to read books, I haven't met anyone who hasn't heard of this famous name. What is your opinion of this writer's work and his great contribution to cinema and literature?

I heard it was in the context of horror. And since I'm not into that genre, I haven't read it, so I can't say anything about it.

Famous "Boogeyman" and "The Shawshank Redemption." No, I'm not interested in them.

Short stories are great, novels are a complete bore. In my opinion, they might only be of particular interest to citizens of the USA, whose everyday life is described in such detail in them; for a foreigner, it doesn't differ much from a cinematic horror film from the eighties. Inb4 the Dark Tower

A magnificent writer, I adore his works "Gozonokosilshchik" and "Siyanie".

"The Green Mile" is an amazing book. "Hearts in Atlantis" is quite an interesting read. Mostly, though, Stephen King is a writer whose books are adapted into excellent films.
Except for "The Shining." King had good reason to be upset with Kubrick.

Morning, I was still reading King's "The Langoliers," "Secret Window, Secret Garden," "Just Like Buick," "The Dead Zone," and "It." You get the idea.

I'm not a fan of TV series, but I watched the entire first season of Under the Dome. I think the continuation will be more interesting; I just need to wait for it.
