Well, fellow Heroes fans, gamers, card sharks, who wants to earn some money today?:D

For the first time in HeroesWorld history, a semi-official and semi-legal betting tournament codenamed BOB is brewing. Since the tourney is a trial run, let's call it "Little BOB" for now, or even BOBik:) . Whether it becomes Big depends primarily on you!:smile01:
Two tournaments are running simultaneously: a blitz in HotA and actually BOB.

So, the conditions:

I. Regulations and deadlines.
The qualifying tournament will be held using the Swiss system (7 or 9 rounds, depending on the number of participants).
Tournament draw: April 04, 2013.
Tournament start: April 05, 2013.
A round begins no earlier than 24 hours after the draw results are published.
Time limit per round - 1+3 days!!! (Blitz, for crying out loud!) - please read carefully and only sign up if you are truly prepared for such strict deadlines (tech losses and removals will be common, you know:smile10: ).
Prize fund - $50 from KostyaN:). For now, for the 1st time, it's symbolic. We'll see how it goes from there:smile26: ...

Application template for tournaments:
Nickname, ICQ number, tournament 1 or (and) tournament 2

II. Rules and templates.
1. By default, games are played according to the Rules for online games in Heroes III and the seasonal Rating Tournament.
2. By default, the game version is SoD 3.2 (4.0), or by mutual agreement WT or any other version of HOMM3.
3. A set of 7 templates (sorry for the selection - chose the fastest ones to avoid overtime games):
-2SM4d(3);
-Jebus Cross;
-Panic;
-Yolka;
-2sm2c (M200%);
-balance (M200%);
-skirmish (M200%).
4. Town selection - standard set. Blue starts the set. Colors are assigned during the draw and do not change with restarts.
5. Turn timer for Jebus Cross template - 6 minutes (combat time doesn't count), for others - 4 minutes. For WT - 2000+400 for Jebus Cross and 2000+300 for others accordingly (combat time counts).
6. A win gives 1 point, a draw 0.5, a loss 0.
The winner is determined by the total number of points. In case of a tie, additional criteria apply.
1) Buchholz coefficient;
2) Head-to-head result.
7. If a game is not finished by the deadline, the organizer decides the outcome based on saves and ICQ logs. The decision is final and cannot be appealed! EVALUATE YOUR POSSIBILITIES WHEN SIGNING UP FOR THE TOURNAMENT!
8. The prize fund may be increased by the money collected by BOB:cool: !

Now about BOB;) :
1. Participation in BOB is completely free:smile02: !
2. After the draw of each round, a BOB participant must choose 3 pairs and predict the winner. Predictions are sent to the host via PM and ARE NOT DUPLICATED ON THE FORUM (to avoid repeats, collusion, etc.).
3. If a player correctly predicts the winners of all selected pairs, they advance to the 2nd round, and so on up to the 7th round.
4. If a player is wrong in even 1 pair, they are eliminated from BOB, BUT! they can make a rebuy;) (re-purchase, 2nd chance), by contributing to the BOB fund:
a). after the 1st mistake - 100 rubles.
b). after the 2nd mistake - 200 rubles.
c). after the 3rd mistake - 300 rubles.
...and continue in the tournament bracket:smile14: ! (it doesn't matter if the player was wrong in one or all pairs in the current round; the rebuy amount is standard).
5. Those who are late to place bets for the 1st, 1st and 2nd, or first 3 rounds can also contribute 100, 200, or 300 rubles accordingly and be in the game, but without the right to a rebuy.
6. The winner(s) will be the players who remain in BOB after the 9th round. If multiple winners are identified, the prize fund is split equally among them.
7. The starting prize fund is the same - $50 !
8. A player can sign up for just 1 tournament or both (BETTING ON THE OUTCOME OF YOUR OWN GAME IS FORBIDDEN!).
9. Bets for the next round are accepted only within 24 hours after the draw!
10. Players from either tournament suspected of obvious and malicious fraud or manipulation of results may be expelled from the tournament without explanation.
11. The prize fund may be increased depending on the number of rebuys:smile20: !

III. Organizational issues.
1. The tournament is unofficial and experimental - so the games played do NOT count toward the seasonal rating (players can duplicate reports to the seasonal rating themselves by agreement).
2. The tournament is held according to the Rules for organizing, conducting, and participating in tournaments.
3. The tournament host, as well as its judge, in a word, the king and god:smile42: - KostyaN (632499811).
4. For each game played, participants must provide a report and confirmation.
5. Saves of all games must be kept until the end of the tournament and presented at the first request of the tournament host.
The referee's decision is made primarily based on the tournament rules. If a situation is not covered by the rules, the referees use basic logic and gaming ethics.

IV. Participants.
1. Active players from HW and other gaming resources are invited to the tournament.
2. Newcomers who have shown good results are allowed (applications will be considered individually).
3. Newly registered players are not allowed in the tournament (exception - active players from other gaming resources; applications will be considered individually).
4. Players who have a ЧМЧ are not eligible to participate in the tournament. If a player is awarded a ЧМЧ during the tournament, they will be disqualified and their results annulled.
5. Applications from undisciplined players who have repeatedly "flaked out" on tournaments may be rejected.
6. The organizer reserves the right to refuse participation in the tournament to a user without providing a public reason.

Money for rebuys can be transferred to bank cards or Yandex.Money (with mandatory notification via PM of who sent how much) - winnings will be paid out the same way.

After 23:59 Moscow time, bets are no longer accepted, and the player is considered to have lost the round and either drops out of the tournament or makes a re-buy and continues.

Excerpt from the rules:

That's correct: tournament 1 - playing Heroes, tournament 2 - BOB, betting:smile01:.

Everything is correct: tournament 1 - Heroes game, tournament 2 - Battle of the Best, stakes:smile01:.

numOne and JustObserver are registered! But overall, with such low activity, there won't be a tournament:( ... If the conditions are too strict for most players, there might be adjustments, but for now, we'll wait 2-3 days to see who participates and how.
