They were supposed to finish R55 over the weekend, played a bit on Friday, and then he disappeared. It's all very sad.

24.11.12 JustObserver (blue, Dungeon, Shakti, Shakti) def Hermit (red, Swamp, Tazar, Paer), Balance, 141

I couldn't expect a Balance pick against Dungeon, but it didn't help me at all, I spent all my restarts on empty layouts, the only good one was restarted by the opp, I ended up playing a terrible mess - even with 2 native heroes in the tavern, there were no roads to adjacent zones, and there were no hideouts anywhere either, except in the central zones. The only positive moment - Shakti's development was simply ideal, attack, defense, tactics, logistics, earth magic, though XP was tight.

In the end, by the third week I reached the center, where I met the opp, who immediately ran to the treasure zone, I ran after him, the tavern showed my advantage in army strength, and in magic we both had nothing special, eventually at turn 141 the opp lost his army in the treasure zone and surrendered, thanks for the game.

That's exactly how it was. Shakti caught up to the lizard wolves and only Paer remained, fleeing from Shakti alone there (I started leveling her because she learned earth magic, which is why I managed to break into the treasure zone, otherwise things were going pretty badly...). In general, there was only one hive behind reasonable guards, which I barely broke through with expert earth magic. Mana ran out, the lizards in the hive got heavily eaten. I tried to exit the treasure zone from another passage while Shakti was deep inside and capture the opponent's capital, though apparently he knew not only logistics but also pathfinding (I can't check the save because I don't have the disk), but with a small number of lizards and no mana for mass slow, I lost :(

Thanks for the game!

Finally Alessandro resigned from finnishing our game and gave me the win.
As far as I remember my map was really nice on balance (strong, Tyrax vs Rampart, Ivor). I had dwell of birds and some angels.
Thanks for game anyway.

27.11.12 OUTLAW (red, Rampart, Kyrre, Kyrre/Gunnar) def Amiloo (blue, Inferno, Calh, Moandor), 8MM6a, 1-2-6
We started right away. As a continuation of my struggles with the internet, we played the 1st week with constant disconnects and maximum nerve-fraying... Because of that, I played the 1st week clumsily and unfocused. Nonetheless, Griffins were built in the castle, I took a Castle from my computer with 1K income and 1-4 building. I stayed there overnight with both daddies on 117. On 121 I set up stables and off we went. Kyrre by that time already had Expert Logistics, Gunner had Pathfinding. The start of the 2nd week was marked by continued disconnects and lag. I looted a Fly scroll while gathering wood (freebie, sir), a bit later — a Resurrection scroll. Kyrre has Earth magic. We took a break, during which the internet recovered, and we continued. I was planning to build a lookout tower, but after scouting the only Griffin Conservatory (tier 3), I decided not to lose momentum and take it. So — I dumped all accumulated resources on 2 markets, buying gold. Before that, I picked up a sword (+2/+2 att/def) from the wood and visited +1 defense. I assault the tier 3 — take it fairly easily, even though I have neither Offense nor Defense. I plan to push into the revealed center for the artifact +3/+3 power/knowledge, breaking the underground passage to my native treasure zone for scouting with Gunnar along the way. But on my turn, blues appeared in the center, taking the coveted artifact and revealing 20-49 demons and a horde of skeletons. The opponent for some reason levels up daddy (Moandor, although for most of the game I thought it would be the once-revealed Tazar), while the gold remains with zero-level Nimuss. I take curiosities at home for 8 vives. I burst into the center with Kyrre, picking up curiosities (8) along the way, and Gunnar, who took the army (3 angels, 1+1+14 vives, 5 unicorns, and 23 Grand Elves), first attacks Nimuss (1+1+1+1+1+160+ skeletons + 38 demons), and then gets to Moandor. Capitulation.
Post-mortem revealed that blues had 2 Dragon Utopias scouted (versus 1 for me) and decent room for active play — they came to the center in vain, where besides 1 Hive there was nothing.
Thanks for the game and patience!!

Something strange happend here.
I played and finish two games in first days of group stage, then i immediately start third game with Pyre which wasnt finished for about month becouse my opp wasnt reachable ( i ask for game average 3-4 times a week). Meanwhile i didnt get any sign from Wowa for whole turn period. Finaly i get message from Pyre that he give up ouer game becouse he already lost other games and ther is no need to finish it becouse I and HellLight go forward from group. In next days i saw that i get "green colour" in table so for me all was clear.

Becouse I was sure that group stage ended for me i didnt come to forum, especially that 99% messages on forum are in Russian language and often even translator didnt help to understand all. You must understand that for foreign players it may be hard to control all messages on forum.
So finally i confirm woned game vs Pyre, completly no contact with Wowa and my apologise for turn extension.

P.S. Next time please message me about such a situation on ICQ.

I confirm.

The start was appealing due to having a Griffin Conservatory at home. Moaandor on 111 got Advanced Necromancy and brought 30 bones with him, plus a pendant for +5% Necromancy dropped. I mauled the computer Rampart quite a bit, by the end of the week I had drained the bones almost back to the starting count. But overall everything was fine; on 117 I spread out decently, at home 1-5 in the Citadel, in Rampart 1-3 in the Citadel. On the 2nd I upgraded Pits, massed up 42 demons and 200 bones, and for some godforsaken reason pushed further into the center. I was playing on stream, repeating every 5 minutes that any contact is a loss for me, but apparently I didn't listen to myself %)
Thanks for the game! :)

26.11.2012 (red, Bog, Tazar, Tazar) def c'0nn3c71nkkK.ppL (blue, Conflux, Pasys, Pasys) 8mm6a 121

Tazar came without lizards and their dwellings are not built at home, but I see 2 convenient roads, an external dwelling of gorgons behind the golems, I push through to the adjacent zone immediately. In the first week I cleared respawn, broke through to one of the centers, killed the enemy dungeon, built cow dwellings, took the external dwelling + portal to the dungeon. Tazar got Pathfinding and Earth Magic. All good, except money is tight, so dwelling construction is only in the fort. Meanwhile, the opponent concedes despite a very favorable position and hands me the win. Thanks for the game!

ps. I accidentally deleted the saves, I ask my opponent to upload them.

27.12.2012 HellLighT (Red, Dungeon, Shakti) def RozenKran (Blue, Conflux, Gelare) Jebuss 114.

Opponent wasted all restarts, I received 3 stacks, totaling 160 trogs, on the very first day I got +1 speed, a Dwarf Cottage (20), and 60 mummies for +2 HP, spread out among a bunch of heroes, the respawn turned out to be huge, with a large number of walking blockers, Griffin Conservatories (3-4), a Dragon Utopia, 2 external dwellings of scorpions which I was going to take because I couldn't find drake dwellings anywhere, but either Nagas or not Griffins... waged war without any troglodyte losses, but my opponent's situation turned out to be even sadder: a ton of blockers, a buffed respawn, after discovering a void behind a blocker — a forfeit... thanks for your time.
