Or maybe we shouldn't wait a whole month for it to become obvious that the player Philosopher lacks the time and desire to participate, especially since there are clear facts confirming this in the league tournament. As long as he isn't officially banned from participating in tournaments on any of the resources under his nickname, there's no reason not to include him in the tournaments, but this issue is already being resolved on both the League and HW.

We will act within the legal framework, according to the tournament rules. If Filya doesn't show up and doesn't play the first-round match, he will be disqualified from the tournament, and the team he was supposed to play against will be awarded a technical victory and 2 points. Noom will replace Filya in the tournament.

There are issues with playing with $an4es. He said he can only play for 2-3 hours, from 7 PM to 9 PM...10 PM Moscow time. And next week, he can only play in the morning. He didn't show up at the time he himself specified for Friday, and today, after staying up all night, he still hasn't rested and hasn't shown up (I did mention that I can't play on Sunday after 7 PM, but I changed that... I make such exceptions once a quarter for real friends), but he's not online on ICQ either before 4 PM or after 7 PM Moscow time. We discussed the details of the game, the template, and the schedule, and then it just stopped.

That's the story. I always have the first shift from 7 AM to 5:30 PM Moscow time... I added some time for the commute if I don't take any shortcuts... According to our prior agreement, I can come earlier to rest and start the game at night, Moscow time. But it seems like we can't come to an agreement.

Penalty sanctions. If a player refuses to continue in the tournament, the team receives a loss, either in the current round or the next.
If a player from the top four does not respond within the round, the team receives a loss in the round and loses an additional 2 points.

IMO, this is too strict. It's not worth deducting points from the team; I think it would be enough to replace the player.

well, there are two options: either the first round results in a loss, or all rounds are played (but if a team scores more than 4 points, they will be penalized with -2).
The second option is more lenient and won't burden the team.

We started today around 2:00 AM Moscow time, and there were no restarts. We are in the 4th game, and both players have taken 2 out of 3 agreed-upon loads.
We just need to finish the game. My opponent and I decided to either finish it today at the same time or on Saturday before the end of the workday. If it needs to be postponed, we need to decide who to play against according to Y11's post, and fairly determine the home team.
I really hope this is a simple, routine, and solvable situation (especially since there is progress).
