But again, it depends on what works best for each player, or perhaps the map conditions limit certain strategies.
Of course, for educational purposes, it would be interesting to know how to defeat large armies using Hives.
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
That's understandable, but generally, in the later stages of the game, you can upgrade Darkness (who to control, who to blind) and, of course, if you don't have the coveted cloak, you can slow down enemies by using crystal shards (or hives, if you don't have the former) on liches. I can't remember if there's anyone else it doesn't affect with either mind control or blinding. I used hives to defeat small groups of high-level creatures with a weak army, but after that, I quickly ran to a fountain.

For Player100 - I often use the Apiary; I posted one of such battles in this thread a few dialogues above (on page 2).
For the map author, Nikitatigr, you really intrigued me with your fearsome Barbarian :smile10:. I was even afraid to attack him, but then I decided to try - it turned out to be nothing special - just a regular Barbarian :smile18:. He has a lot of strength and brute force, but not much intelligence - like a Goblin. I defeated him on the first try, losing about 20% of my army. I finished the war in 42 days.
I'm attaching the final screenshots and the replay of the final battle.
If you're interested, I can post replays of battles with the Fortress and Human and Elven Castles (I think I also have a replay of a battle for the Legion of Gremlins). The other battles weren't that interesting, so I didn't save them.
P.S., I am very grateful to you for the wonderful map.
