But withdrawing from a tournament due to a lack of motivation, especially when you play the game every day, is a direct disrespect to your opponents. No one thinks that some people sign up for a tournament to play with strong players? And here they say, "No - I don't want to play with you." If this is allowed as the norm, then some will withdraw after the first game, and some even after the draw.
I understand everything; Stinger probably has a valid reason, and my post is more directed at those who are surprised that Stinger's departure was met with more negativity than Dubrovin's removal.

You trust your opponent during the game. And trusting in a tournament is even more important. If a person says they have valid reasons to withdraw, then their words should be taken seriously, and not dismissed with some absurd arguments about cheating and the like. For those who grew up in a bubble, I can give an example: a person might end up in the hospital, get into debt, or be involved in a legal case. In any of these cases, they are not obligated to provide an explanation, even on a personal level. And there could be many more examples. Secondly, I think that reasonable people are playing to win. A person who has lost their chances of advancing from the group (or, conversely, has already secured a spot in the playoffs) may very well decide how to handle unmotivated games as they see fit. How important will this withdrawal, offer of a draw, or intentional loss on turn 113 be? Or should an intentional loss also be equated to disqualification?
No one thinks that some people sign up for a tournament just to play against strong players? And here, they are told "NO - I don't want to play against you."

With all due respect, losing to Stinger in a casual match hardly warrants such criticism. He's a well-known figure in the Heroes community and has played more games in "Sod" than anyone else here. Since the tournament has time constraints, and because I cannot, due to the reasons described above, arrange with opponents to play on a specific day and time, I decided to withdraw. For three weeks of real time, Dimast and I couldn't finish a saved game for this reason, even though the match was interesting. We decided to finish the save outside the tournament somehow. During this time, I only played 1 fun match in VT on Jebus Cross, and only because I unexpectedly had a few free hours. Had a nice starting area with 2 wyvern dwells and 1 for lizard and several hive nests.On 121 I recovered that I have hydra dwell and 2 more hive nests but it was too far from town.I managed to break in desert on 124 with 30 wyverns,3 hydras,50+ lizards warriors and few snakes vs 60+ unicorns.My exit was very close to opponent exit.He broke also on 124 but he wasnt too strong and entered in my area.I got back my troops to town because I was expecting early meeting.Opponent got back in his area and went for double or triple build,because he had 3 dungeon towns in his area.Meanwhile,I took dragon utopia in my area which gave me shackles of war and water book.In week3 I took 4 more utopias in desert and got nice arts from there.I had dd,angel wings so I could easy catch my opponent.I recaptured my fortress town on 142 and on same day opponent decided to attack me.I had much better stats,Tazar(26 43 22 21) than him,Shakti(21 10 8 12),so it was easy fight for me.It was nice and interesting game.Thx for game

Well, there are just some players who sign up to hang out (Playheroes - hope I didn’t offend anyone by mentioning it). In my opinion, this is a characteristic of all major tournaments. Should they not be accepted? By the way, this is one of the reasons why I think the group system is impractical.
I don't understand the current situation in the group. Did Stinger get tech points? Or do I have 0 points because I haven't played with him, while Redwait has 1? And who will be taking points from Dimast now? I'd like to see the table to understand what's going on, as there won't be any more replacements if I understand correctly.
