If you have a second email address on a different service, try specifying it during registration – it might help. Some automated services seem to have trouble sending messages to certain services. I once read about this somewhere, and there was another case: a confirmation email for registering an antivirus program wasn't arriving, but specifying a different email address helped resolve the issue.
