RC7 -> RC8 (08/31/2012)
[-] bug: RC7 did not detect that WoG/TE/WT/ERA was running, and identified them as SoD, which led to many errors
[+] the mod now recognizes that WT is running (previously it identified WT as TE) and disables its implementation of the replayed auto-battle and the battle ending with [F]
[+] the mod now recognizes that HotA is running (previously it identified it as SoD) and disables duplicate changes
[+] the acceleration of interaction with the map (TournamentExtensions->SkipMapMsgs) now works with WoG/TE/ERA and even with WT (complementing the acceleration implemented in it, without conflicting)
[+] in HD3Launcher.exe, you can now enable AutofixMap, TournamentExtensions, and ImprovedGameplay for WoG/TE/WT/ERA
[-] bug: ending the battle with [F] took the spellbook away from the hero

3.0 -> 3.01 (09/03/2012)
[-] bug: replaying a battle on a map object caused the hero to duplicate and the object to become corrupted (it became decorative)
[!] in a quick battle without magic ([F]/replayable), messages about the hero casting a spell no longer appear, even though nothing happens (because now the hero loses the spellbook, not the spells themselves)
[!] for WoG/TE/ERA, replaying quick battles is now unavailable (commanders were not restored, and other issues)
[+] the following have been added to the map interaction speed-up: stable, fire pillar, observatory, abandoned mine
[+] now, if ClipCursor = 1, the mouse cursor cannot be moved outside the window unless the [CTRL] key is held down (as in 2.9)

[-] bug: with the ImprovedGameplay and TournamentExtensions options enabled, the results window was not displayed after losing a quick battle
3.03 -> 3.04 (09/14/2012) [-] Bug in TournamentExtensions: when replaying a battle, if the player lost in a quick battle, the hero would lose equipped artifacts (from slots 2 to 19).
3.04 -> 3.05 (15.09.2012)
[-] bug in TournamentExtensions: when replaying a quick battle, the hero's primary skills, luck, and morale values were not restored, and the Castles on the artifact slots were not restored.
3.05 -> 3.06 (24.09.2012)
[-] bug: AutofixMap crashed the game when playing as the pink player.
[-] bug: in WoG/TE/WT/ERA, opening the town screen through the adventure window list starting from the 6th one caused the game to freeze (more precisely, the town screen opened, but it was not visible because the game rendering completely stopped).
[-] Realistic AI vs AI battles in ImprovedGameplay are now completely disabled for WoG/TE/WT/ERA because they conflict with ERM (externally manifested as the AI turn freezing, although in reality the game was not freezing, but invisible error messages from ERM were popping up).
[ ] Realistic AI vs AI battles in ImprovedGameplay are disabled for AI battles with neutrals to speed up the game (it only works for hero vs hero or hero vs Castle).
[-] in quick battles without magic, the hero could cast spells even if he had spellbooks.
[+] updated Polish translation, from an author who wished to remain anonymous.
[-] bug: HotA could crash when launched.
[ ] some changes for working with HotA (details are known to the HotA Crew)
[-] Bug in tournament extensions: heroes would gain (or, less frequently, lose) spellbooks after a battle.
[-] Bug: the kingdom overview window would only render after the mouse cursor was moved over it after opening (which could give the impression that the window appeared with a delay).
[-] Bug: in 32-bit GDI mode, the game's rendering would be distorted after moving the window.
[-] Bug in tournament extensions: when playing against a player not using the mod + tournament extensions, the quick battle confirmation window would pop up before all battles, including the opponent's battles.
[-] Bug in tournament extensions: the game would crash when selecting a template containing non-standard map sizes.
[!] Tournament extensions: quick battle is now available via the [Q] hotkey instead of [F] (because [F] is the spellcasting button for Fantastic Dragons in the original game).
[!] The implementation of protected saves has been completely reworked.
New implementation:
- more stable,
- simpler and faster
- requires fewer resources (the old version required a constant +10 MB of RAM for SoD and +50 MB of RAM for WoG/TE/WT/ERA; the new version requires +0 MB of RAM).
- password-protected saves compress better.
[!] Memory management in the mod has been reworked, which has increased stability.
[!] Improved stability when playing against version 2.9x.
[!] Enhanced protection against user error (in the event of a number of incorrect user actions during installation/mod configuration, the game will display informative messages and refuse to run).
[+] If the _HD3_.ini file does not contain records of the original game's settings (e.g., during some mod version updates), they will be read from the registry (if they are there).
[+] Tournament extensions: added automatic detection of 2.9x on the other end (after starting/loading the game, the 3.07 player receives a corresponding message, after which the display of movement points is enabled).
[+] Improved gameplay: added detection of 2.9x + Fix Gameplay Bugs on the other end.
- the 3.07 player receives a corresponding message, after which only those game fixes that are included in 2.9x + Fix Gameplay Bugs are enabled.
- if 2.9x goes first after starting/loading, 3.07 will automatically detect it and immediately apply the fixes.
- if 3.07 goes first, it will detect 2.9x and apply the fixes in the following cases:
a) when passing the turn to the 2.9x player
b) when the 2.9x player presses 'replay turn' (if desired, you can ask them to do this)
c) when the 2.9x player presses [left SHIFT]+[F2] (if desired, you can ask them to do this)
[+] Autocorrect for maps: added interaction with 2.9x when healing the map, which makes healing more effective.
[+] Added to the improved gameplay: it is now impossible to swap allied heroes in a town using the spacebar (this feature was in 2.9x, and for some reason disappeared in 3.x).
[+] The extended functionality of the hero exchange window is now available for a vertical resolution of 600 pixels.
[ ] Saved games in single-player mode with improved gameplay enabled are now saved with the HDSvG signature instead of H3SVG
(so that you can distinguish which rules the game is being played under in the save file).
3.09 -> 3.10 (3.11.2012)
General:
[-] some undefined errors in the game (for example, and primarily when viewing a turn) no longer crash the game. That is, these errors may still occur, but they are more likely to remain unnoticed, and it may be possible to continue playing without consequences.
[-] original bug: if random creatures are assigned to a random hero on a map in the editor, then this map cannot be played (the game crashes during the player's turn with that hero).
Improved Gameplay:
[-] original bug: the game crashes during an AI player's turn if one of their heroes has an Angel Alliance equipped and one of their heroes has neutral (non-castle) creatures.
[-] original bug: an AI attack on a human player's hero standing at the entrance to an allied AI city leads to unclear, obviously erroneous consequences...
Autofix Map:
[+] added fixes for several other consequences of map errors leading to cities turning 'gray', heroes being duplicated, and (!) crashes.
3.10 -> 3.11 (4.11.2012)
[+] _HD3_.dll is included in the build : )
[+] now the HD mod supports .bin patches like ERA and MOP. (place them in Common or Packs\%pack name%)
[+] the Extended Spell Book pack has been added to the build (enabled by default).
This pack expands the spellbook so that 24 spells can be displayed on its spread instead of the standard 12.
The idea and authorship of the bin patch are by Master Of Puppets. Minor changes and graphics - baratorch.

3.11 -> 3.12 (7.11.2012)
General:
[-] Fixed several memory leaks that affected stability, especially in multiplayer.
[ ] Expanded the list of errors; now, when these errors occur, the game will not crash but will continue to run.
[+] Added a reworked, expanded spellbook to the mod, not as a separate pack, but as an integral part of the mod (using the InterfaceExtensions functionality).
- - - (The pack from the previous version can be disabled and removed).
[+] Tooltips have been added for the additional buttons in the extended trade window.
Improved Gameplay:
[-] Bug: In multiplayer, clicking in the town window while waiting for a turn could crash the game.
[-] Author - Sav: Original bug - in RMG, a starting hero could be placed in prison, which caused that starting hero to level up.
Tournament Extensions:
[+] When playing with protected saves, if one of the players leaves the game, the remaining players cannot continue the game.
- - - After the notification window, the player is kicked out to the main menu (or out of the game); before that, if the host's turn is not finished, the game will offer to save the game.
[-] Bug: The game crashed when clicking 'start' in the scenario selection window if the list of scenarios was empty (the maps folder was empty).
- - - (Now it doesn't crash, but the original glitches still exist).
