How he managed to appear so quickly is unclear.
I had to retreat and finally pay attention to the north, from where some demon also arrived. But there, things are better – the armies aren't as strong, and my growth has already picked up. But Irina has already reached level 30 and is no longer leveling up.

Then it turns out that this Mark can be farmed endlessly, to level up weapons and the level of the companions.

You just don't see it, but they've been chasing each other like that throughout the entire game. The main thing is not to get in the way. Only Malik and the heroes from Gerhard's Palace hunt the player. Stay in the castle. If you've captured Ashwick and Gustav's Turn, sooner or later you'll outlast everyone.

Don't wait, it's detrimental, especially starting from Heroes 5, as the AI develops faster than you.
You need to capture enemy castles and rebuild them into your own as quickly as possible.
Nebiros can be defeated as early as the fourth week.

Did you focus on building an army at the beginning, or did you quickly capture
Gustav's and Ashwick's locations?
