Dear sir, whether you "believe it or not" is not up to me ;)

I checked first, and then reported – gargoyles join for 240,000, vampires for 180,000, liches for 180,000... :D Moreover, they can do this on the first day of the game if you have the money, a diplomacy expert, and a strong army... As for the army and diplomacy, it takes a maximum of three weeks, which was the case in the "Impossible" save, and in your save, everything comes down to having enough funds, which is practically impossible to achieve...

Well, I don't know, the army seemed strong... there was plenty of money, but not enough sulfur. We didn't join any faction, not Liches, not Gargoyles, not Vampires...

By the way, you can simply bypass this event: there's a free space to the south of it.

I don't quite understand. For me, both the Vampires and Liches surrendered for free, and I even have saves before attacking them. AmberSoler, did the Gargoyles surrender for money for you?

And one more thing – I would like to ask everyone about the tactics for killing ifrits (I didn't do this quest myself, although I saw it. The reason is that I lost more troops killing ifrits than I gained in the end. The reason is their incredibly strong fire shield. So, how did you all do it?)

What do your vampires and liches have to do with it? :) Raper had a completely different save, no one joined him for free... Which is what we're talking about, that there was no easy way on "Normal"... :D

What's the deal? Why do they only surrender for money on normal difficulty? Did it depend on the map, or was it specifically because it was NORMAL difficulty?

I generally completed it, only recruiting Troglodytes, Dragon Flies, and Dwarves at the start, and Ghost Dragons and Death Knights later on.

...Which, for some reason, no one used. :(

After building an artifact merchant, in the FIRST MONTH, I found the GOLDEN BOW artifact! That's basically it.
