10 out of 10, I liked everything O_o. Although those who only listen to true rock and metal should probably skip it.

I must say that my musical tastes are quite specific. And, most importantly, they are fragmented and unpredictable for those around me. In this particular album, I liked the tempo, the successful use of drums, and how it brings the listener to a high emotional level. tortsh has arrived. The song Sally made a particularly strong impression on me. I suspect it's because of the violin.

Valentin Strykalo. I finally got around to listening to his music, and I'm very happy I did. There's no point in writing about it; instead, I'll just list the songs I liked: Vsyo Resheno, Ya Byu Zhenshchin i Detey (it really lifts my spirits), Pesnya dlya Devochok, Rustem, Ya Nochu Plachu i Drochu (it's inspiring, honestly), Gay Porn, Pervomay.

I also discovered a new album by All Time Low called Dirty Work, which I didn't have, and I listened to it. At first glance, nothing really stands out, except for the song Return The Favor, which I really liked.

Decided to listen to new albums by some bands before the start of September. Although not entirely new, I'm just a bit slow to catch up.

First on the list is Snow Patrol and their album Fallen Empires. I heard the song Called Out In The Dark a while ago, and it's quite good. I also liked Lifening. I need to get used to the rest; I thought the sound would be a bit different, although this style also suits them.

3 Doors Down and the album Time Of My Life, which I didn't particularly like, nor did I like the band's work in general, except for a few songs. However, the album has a good song called Heaven.

And Sunrise Avenue with their Out of Style. If I compare them to the previous bands, I liked these ones more. I liked Somebody Help Me, Hollywood Hills, and Sweet Symphony.

Autumn has arrived, which means it's time to listen to autumn music. I found a good band, The Orange Lights, through Last.fm. They only have one album so far, Life is Still Beautiful. Their sound is slightly reminiscent of a few other bands that I listen to, but there are definitely differences. I liked the songs Let the love back in, Little me little you, and My guardian angel the most. I'm still listening to the rest.

I also remembered about the new album by Yellowcard, called Southern Air. I immediately liked Awakening, but I need more time for the others. Some songs don't grab you right away, but after a month, two, or six months.

I suddenly found out that Sixpence None The Richer released a new album, Lost In Transition, which I am definitely happy about. Initially, I paid attention to the song Radio and thought that the title was simple, but it would probably be good (there's already one like that), although I don't like songs with simple titles. But yes, I liked it. I also liked the song Go Your Way, mainly because of the chorus. I need to listen to the others.

And I listened to The Killers. Their new album, Battle Born, which hasn't impressed me much so far. I partially liked Carry Me Home and The Way It Was.

Continuing the autumn theme, I'm now moving on to the acoustic folk of Iron & Wine. According to Last.fm, the musician's main instruments are guitar and banjo. The first song I heard was the melancholic Upward Over the Mountain, and I immediately fell in love with it. Then came Flightless Bird, American Mouth and Such Great Heights, which I liked even more. Now I'm enjoying The Sea and the Rhythm. Wow, so many great songs. It's hard to pick out anything else right now, so I'll just keep listening and enjoying it.

At the same time, I listened to the Green Day album called Uno!, which I didn't really like. The only interesting song is Kill The Dj, and I also liked part of the chorus in Carpe Diem.
I also listened to Billy Talent and their Dead Silence. It didn't really grab me, maybe it will later. Although the one-minute Lonely Road to Absolution was good.

I recently watched a French film and heard a song in it that I liked, just like the film itself. I found it and decided to listen to the whole album. The film is about Serge Gainsbourg, and the songs are his, which he sang in a duet with one of his wives. The album is from 1969 and is simply titled Jane Birkin et Serge Gainsbourg. That song is called Je t'aime... moi non plus and it is completely filled with love. It was created for those very moments when two loving people are alone together and it begins.

All Time Low releases albums too quickly; their new one, Don't Panic, is already out. As with the previous one, I only like one song so far, For Baltimore. It somehow reminds me of the beginning of a Beatles song. Although, in The Reckless And The Brave, the chorus is pretty good.

I also downloaded Hot Water Music because I had four songs, but after listening to it, I decided to delete it.

It's time to write about the new album by Muse, titled The 2nd Law. It doesn't sound like their old stuff (except for some moments), and I personally find that pleasing because it was getting stale.


1. Supremacy. I didn't really like this song, and if you compare it to their previous work, it's closer to their first albums. Someone wrote that it evokes associations with fantasy.
2. Madness. At first, it didn't impress me much, except for the cool ending, but now it seems okay.
3. Panic Station. This song feels like it came from the past, before we were even born. It's decent; I like the chorus.
4. Prelude. Sweet and beautiful.
5. Survival. I liked it right away, ever since the Olympics. It's an energetic song that inspires you to fight, move forward, and take action. A song for athletes, like Siv.
6. Follow Me. Possibly the best or one of the best songs on the album; even the dubstep doesn't ruin it, but rather makes it better.
7. Animals. It reminds me a bit of another one of their songs; it's nice.
8. Explorers. It could compete for the title of the best, despite its slight resemblance to an old song. In my opinion. When you listen to it, you get a feeling of flight, and the lyrics are fitting.
9. Big Freeze. A good song, also one of the best.
10. Save Me. Many people didn't like it because the bassist sings it, but I do. It gives you a sense of upliftment and inspiration.
11. Liquid State. The bassist is singing here too, but the song is completely different. Again, it's more similar to their earlier albums.

People wrote that the last two remind them of Mass Effect. I haven't played it, so I can't say anything about that, but maybe fans of the game should give them a listen if they enjoy the game's music. The first one has dubstep in it, so the second one might be better.)

I wanted to listen to more French music, so I decided to look for solo works by artists from the Mozart musical.
I found three albums by Melissa Mars: Et Alors!, La Reine des Abeilles, A la recherche de l'amour perdu. Another one is supposed to be released soon, so I'll be waiting for it, and in the meantime, I'm listening to these. I won't go into detail about each album because they are all good (maybe the third one is a bit weaker), but there are still some songs that I liked more: Je fais peur aux garcons (it evokes a medieval atmosphere when I listen to it), Chapitre Toi, Quelqu'un, Je me Confesse, 1h13, Horror Movies. I also want to mention the new song Tweet N' Roll, which may be on the next album.

Merwan Rim has released only one album so far, L Echappee, also from this year, or maybe I just didn't search well enough. I liked it even more than Melissa's albums. I especially liked the song Dors. I also want to highlight Vous, Le Meilleur De Nous, Un Nouveau Jour, and the song in English, This Is Not Happiness.
I also want to write about songs that are not on the album but are also great, in particular Notre liberte, Dans tes sables émouvants, Danser Sur La Lune (a duet), Chère Amie, and the song from another musical, Contre ceux d'en haut (Le Roi Soleil). There may be others, but I couldn't find them.

Suddenly discovered a lot of new albums. I'll try to fit them all into one post. I finally understood why Green Day's latest album was simple and not very interesting. It's just one of three, the first part of a trilogy. Now I have two more albums that I like more in terms of songs.
