But the end of the world did not occur. By some miracle, the building survived. Apparently, it held a piece of its creator's power within itself and did not want to yield to the onslaught of the elements. In the morning, the exhausted Almighty gathered in the dining room for breakfast. Everyone was surprised by Arandor's appearance, for a green magical field shone around him. No one understood what it did until the clumsy Arandor cut his finger while slicing bread for a sandwich. Before everyone's eyes, the wound flashed green and closed up. "Magic, nothing else," concluded the awkwardly smiling Arandor.
