Here's a bug that appeared after Patch 1.3:
The Boots of Levitation are not awarded. The game says the quest is completed, but the boots are not in the inventory. When the message "Boots of Levitation" appears at the top of the screen, the boots icon does not appear, and there is a white square instead. Replaying the quest did not help.

Right-click on an item in your inventory, and the boots will appear in one of the empty slots; equip them. Alternatively, before destroying the dungeon, free up a slot for the boots, and they will automatically be equipped.

Guys, please help me out!!! Sorry for my noob question, I'm actually a pro at King's Bounty, but I decided to take a break and play Heroes, and I ran into a problem in the 4th mission "The Trap" – I can't get across to the other side (across the river). I found the Boots of Levitation in the Dungeon, but I can't figure out how to use them to fly across the river (((

You put on the boots from your inventory... then you approach the bridge, and a little below it, there's a ford... you can cross to the other side using it.

P.S. These boots don't grant levitation, they allow you to walk on water...

Yes, but unfortunately, I don't have them in my inventory – could this be a bug? Or should I replay the quest? My game version is 1.3.

Sometimes there's a bug and they appear invisible... before completing the quest, you can take off your boots, and then they will automatically fall into the correct slot... or click with the right mouse button on empty slots in your hero's inventory; one of them will have "boots" written on it, and drag them into the main slot. Guys, help me! In which part of the map are the boots located? I already completed the campaign, but I stupidly deleted the game, and then decided to play again, but there are no saves...

Near the final bridge, towards the bottom of the map, there should be an entrance to the Dungeon. They are located in one of the buildings there...

Before going to the dungeon for the boots, it is advisable to remove the traveler's boots. After exiting the dungeon, you can immediately instruct Isabel to go to the other side of the river. Then she will find the place where she needs to go down to the river.

I'm also having a problem with completing this mission. When I encounter the "elves," a scripted cutscene plays, the game says "mission completed," I click OK, and then the game freezes (presumably loading the 5th mission) and crashes back to the mission selection screen for the first campaign, and only the first mission is available to select. ??? The game is a licensed version from 1C, version 1.0. Updating to version 1.4 didn't help. What should I do? Maybe someone can provide a save file for the beginning of the 5th mission of the first campaign?

Try installing patch 1.5 and starting the mission again from the menu, not from a save. If that doesn't help, send me a private message and I'll send you a save file; I have version 1.5 of the game.

Boots in the dungeon, in the Necropolis! The mission ((((((wasn't very enjoyable! I cleared the Necropolis, put on the boots, swam across, and then there's a video clip of me being captured! But why did I need to gather an army in the first place? By that time, I had 10 Archangels, 25 Champions, and so on!
