Since dragons are now only leaders, I would like to see the Sylvan faction in the following form in the next installment. Core creatures: dryads for magical support (possibly healing) and flight; archers for ranged combat; satyrs for melee combat and maintaining high morale in the army. Elite creatures: ents for melee combat and limiting the opponent's mobility; pegasi with riders for suppressing enemy magic, participating in melee combat, and flight; unicorns for the same magic suppression, melee combat, and neutralizing the enemy. Master creatures: phoenixes (we already know their abilities). Druids are moved to the magical class of Sylvan heroes, and blade dancers are placed on pegasi.
Regarding the Dungeon faction, I have nothing to say, as I don't like its new version led by dark elves. Although... I wouldn't mind seeing hydras as champions (they deserve it) and manticores in the elite instead of one of the elven units. I also hope to see warriors from the faceless and a shadow-like creature, similar to the Dark Elemental. Plus, minotaurs. That's 2 free slots for elves. We can take assassins and witches.
In Academy, everything is standard; it's already a well-established order.
Fortress... I'm not sure if this faction will be included in the game. The first three factions are literally required, but there's less interest in dwarves. Although, I would be glad to see them again. For the sake of completeness and variety. Besides, someone has to occupy the northern lands. But it's easy to reason and want, of course, but funding the creation of another side in the conflict... is not my business, so I'll be quiet.
And Sanctuary. I demand flight for kirins, spirituality for snow maidens, and a wet attack for stream spirits.
Well, Phoenixes have always been on the same side as the forest army in "Heroes." Plus, they fit well with them. The question is, according to the rules of Ashan, Phoenixes should remain neutral. But I see them in Sylvan. As well as water spirits. It's just not meant to be.
Not a very good fit. The concept of phoenixes, tied to primordial magic, wouldn't really allow them to be included with the elves who worship Silvanne. In all factions, champions are connected to the Dragon of that faction, just as it was in the fifth game, and nothing has changed here either.
They don't really fit. The concept of phoenixes, associated with primordial magic, wouldn't allow them to be included with the elves who worship Silvanne. In all factions, champions are connected to the Dragon of that faction, just like in the fifth game, and nothing has changed here either.
But what if we play with the concepts? For example, phoenixes symbolize life and rebirth, which is very close in spirit to Silvanne, and so on... Therefore, the elves decided to unite with them, and so on...
Why can't an exception be made? Ideologically, they could be linked in a very clever and interesting way. After all, they don't belong with the Necromancers... But with the Elves, it would be perfect. That's why I don't like Ashan – because of its tediousness and boring order.
By the way, not quite. Vampires and liches steal life energy. And phoenixes do everything on their own, which is closer to regeneration from the Earth magic school than to the methods of necromancers.
Mages... mages in a Mesopotamian style. Firstly, if there are Necromancers, there should also be mages (Necromancers originated from mages). And the Mesopotamian style is due to the fact that before the war between the Academy and the Necropolis, their lands were flourishing gardens... _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Phoenixes for the Elves? Haha, they'll burn down all the forests. Phoenixes for the Academy.
