Posts from Tactics for Dungeon.
Нет невежества - есть Знание
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war...
Regarding tactics... I don't play Dungeon much, but with 2.5 ranged units (0.5 - harpies), I usually stick to a defensive tactic in battle. And it's convenient to storm castles with only 2 infantry units, the rest being ranged and flying units.
Все люди - братья, но в каждом из нас спит волк.
You're all forgetting about the Evil Eye! After all, they formed the backbone of my army (just like harpies!):smile23:

The race is decent, it's normal. Only many of the monster buildings require valuable resources, and sometimes there's a shortage of them. Also, a level 2 Mage Guild is needed for Dragons, and a level 3 for Black Dragons. Mana Vortex is great (I've never seen the AI build it), and the Summoning Portal also helps with extra warriors.

Eyes are eyes, but finding just one of each type on the Impossible difficulty can be much more difficult than finding a dozen of the same sulfur, and this is a huge disadvantage of these Eyes. And harpies are only good when upgraded, which also consumes resources at the beginning...
But overall, this castle is one of the strongest... and largely due to the selection of heroes in it.

Which of the heroes is so good??????
Take, for example, Gunnar or Jeddite, or even better, a combination – Gunnar with Alamar...
Warlocks rule, since magic is no small thing.
Jeddit is a cool guy: I constantly get earth, air, water, and fire magic. And diplomacy has one of the highest % chances of appearing. Which also rules on some maps.
regarding "too expensive" — good things cost a lot.
regarding "black dragons" — natural resistance to magic sometimes helps; yes, they can't be resurrected, but in this case an artifact might help.
And I won't even mention the mana vortex... you don't have to push knowledge too hard and can instead pump spell power.
But overall, to each their own. Swamp is also pretty fun.
