Posts from Mafia 44. Time of TroublesAuto-translated
First of all, thanks to Ment for the interesting setting in every respect. The game very clearly showed that even the most dream team can throw under certain circumstances. Good Lord, the second team came to kill us four nights in a row. And we also killed two Lithuanians. This is why I don't like settings with two mafias. It's cool, yes, but the imbalance occurred in almost every game I witnessed with such a setting: whether in 34, 40, 41, 42, 43, or now, the mafia players harmed each other if not more than the town, then at least just as much. Thank you very much to the team. Although we had some internal conflicts at first, by the middle we had cooperated and put all our effort into team play. Morni, Spir, Lynx, thank you very much. Raini, don't leave us next time. =) Oh, and by the way, this was my anniversary werewolf game on HeroesWorld as a player - 10! And I am happy with it. My sincere thanks to everyone I played with in those 10 games. You gave me unforgettable moments. And now, as in my first mafia game, I ask forgiveness from my team for our loss. I was the one making the role table, and I was the one who wrote Vish down as a Cossack, not a Prince. If we had killed Jack, our chances would have been better. But Jack was thought to be a Witch, and Nebko a Werewolf. Rudy was considered a Prince, hah. I'm sorry, gentlemen. Next time I'll try not to make such miscalculations.
A question for the Lithuanians. Did you kill me the second time because I was exposed as a mafioso, or did you just decide to finish off what you failed to do the previous night?
About the game.
The plot – I didn't care much about it, but the way the GM described everything from the perspective of a monk (who didn't give me peace for the first two days) made me get involved. In general, it felt like the guy really cared about his story. That's good.
Roles – there were many roles that I would have enthusiastically played (in terms of the character, the image), for example, a drunkard, a Cossack, a sorcerer (but those are so-so), and, of course, a drunk, a leshy, and a werewolf!
And when I found out that I would be playing a werewolf, I realized that it was incredibly cool! In general, the game won me over with its character.
Now, let's talk about him in more detail. He can't be compared to Koshin the sniper, of course. He didn't find a girlfriend; he just sent a sweet couple to the afterlife. What a scoundrel. Except that he did visit Zubr, they had a drink, but then we found out that he's a coward. Heh-heh.
And the execution didn't go well either. He let himself be captured. Moreover, it wasn't mentioned that he killed even one of the guards in the process, which is a pity.
In general, he didn't stand out. Although he lived longer than Snappy.
By the way, GM, no offense, just an analysis, you didn't need to reveal the werewolf's inner world.
Oh yes, he also didn't drink with the drunkard; he just killed him, it seems. Although, it's okay, there's no need to drink with Hermit, he's cruel.
Let's move on. The atmosphere of the game. There were many inactive players, too many to get rid of them all. However, Lynx, Arandor, Zubr, Winner, and Jack made it all much better. Those who were actively involved (and there were probably many) did a great job, but it was a bit boring to play seeing only your wonderful avatars. There were also those who wrote poorly, but I won't look for them. Because it will take time + it will show that I am supposedly very critical of those who didn't write at all. Although, yes, I am critical of them. Why write at all?
I won't criticize the hints. In my opinion, they were just right. The city was already doing well. Because some of the NDs were so active that, if desired, you could gather a lot of information.
Ah, stop, something surprised me. Is it a tradition in Mafia to reveal dead roles so obviously? No, I can adapt to such conditions, but creating more difficult conditions for deciphering the newspaper might encourage the town to at least read and do something. I mean the town as a whole.
By the way, guys, you're praising me here, but you forgot about Lynx. We both joined the "town" together, survived until the most crucial moment, and both unsuccessfully tried to convince vekov. And it's just cool to play with her because she doesn't try to be too... something, and I'm grateful for that. There's something to remember besides the "dry" analytical part.
Winner is also great! If it weren't for my paranoia, he would have had every chance of winning.
Zubr, Arandor, thank you for the company, you did your best to support the town. Thank you to Zubr's character for adding variety to the werewolf's life. And the fact that Arov didn't log in is even good because he's some kind of non-drinker, and the mace appeared later...
Jack, you played well. It was interesting until the last night, and then I didn't like that you started insulting Lynx and me; I don't care, I'm not proud, but it wasn't right to do to her. But overall, your last NDs were correct, and your reasoning was also helpful. It was also interesting to read your reasoning about which role belonged to whom just before the end of the game.
And GM, I repeat, thank you for the setting, the role, the newspapers, and the hints (especially the first one). I knew that I had to execute the chicken!

How is it correctly – "Rudya" or "Rudogo"?
I like "Rudogo". And in general, whatever.

Rudyy, I did say at the end of that day that I considered you to be a peaceful player. And I only started "attacking" because you started doing it to me.
Well, that was said once, and I didn't believe it. I thought you were going to completely destroy me. I regret it. As I already said. Do you like me using formal address? If you do, continue; if it's just out of politeness, don't worry about it. I definitely won't be using formal address with you.

By the way, the Winner was quite good at eliminating players who weren't the Mafia. However, he later suggested that I might be the Mafia, and that's how he revealed himself.

I was making a table of roles, and I was the one who put Vish in the Cossacks, not the Princes. If Jack had been killed, there would have been more chances. But Jack was considered a Sorceress, and Nebka was considered a Werewolf. Ruddy was considered a Prince, haha. Sorry, gentlemen. Next time, I will try not to make such miscalculations.
Here is the citadel of evil! No, I was sure that your team had figured me out. Some kind of miracle.

And regarding you arriving late, I don't think you could have convinced them to vote me out, because the analysis of the negatives revealed you. Believe me, even I was shocked when, after that night, you turned out to be a negative player.) Well, yes, I was active, but I wouldn't have acted like that if I were Mafia or if I were lying. As I said before, I needed to prove something to Hermit, and thankfully, I succeeded.)
Tox, I don't think it's your fault, because as I understand it, not many people suspected me of being a good guy.
