What do we have here? It seems the town has once again chosen the easy path in this game: “Proud but dumb.” Listening to something intelligent is hard enough, let alone remembering it – I’ll take your word for it on that. How can one even get to generating something intelligent, huh?
But I liked another moment more – my execution. Oh, it was very amusing. Let's take a closer look because this little process correlates well with the game itself.
Execution.
Reasons for execution:
1. "Gurus don't play like that."
I am not a guru. I am not a spiritual mentor and I am not going to teach anyone (not to be confused with "preach"). I am the best player. I don't play for anyone except myself. I play however I want. And I, as well as logic in general, am absolutely unconcerned about subjective opinions about someone's gameplay. Games are not repeated; there are millions of factors, similarities and differences will always exist; this is not some meticulously crafted theatrical performance.
2. "Hostor doesn't play like that for the town."
Again, Hostor plays how he wants. If someone has a calendar plan for Hostor's behavior during games, show it to me, I'll appreciate it and laugh.
3. "The town doesn't play like that."
The town could play much worse; you don’t need to go far for examples; you know it yourself.
4. "Hostor was acting suspiciously before the execution."
So, I'm mafia because I don't want to be executed? Zybr and Co., that's ridiculous. I understand that some can only play by openly adopting a role from the start, which often hinders executions (giving away their town role, “clever” dances with the killer) and allows them to feel relatively safe. But overall, one can assume that the town role has more disadvantages when dying during the day, and naturally, no sane player would want such an outcome.
5. "Hostor found us a clue while being investigated himself."
Now Mafia also finds clues, right, because the town cannot do that. Seriously, I found a good interpretation, and they are marking it down as mafia activity. It is clear clinical limitation, unfortunately. Judging by the fact that afterwards nobody even bothered to type any of Revan's signature phrases into Google – this is also intellectual disability; my condolences. But I digress. The number of solved clues in the town...were there any?
Even if my version wasn't correct, at least it was quite good and still pointed towards the mafia. Especially since after my death and the revelation of the role, one could have taken into account the first-night investigation and drawn conclusions.
6. "Hostor burned himself out with the clue."
One of the options for comparing a patient "someone" with themselves, resulting in cosmic scenarios with absolute absurdity.
7. "Hostor acts like a clown."
Well, yes, you boring guys. I decided to entertain myself at your expense and hit the jackpot. Not only did I have a lot of fun, but I also started a provocation,
as a result of which I exposed Kosh and Mortulus. I didn’t manage to get the rest because of the early time of day, alas, but I caught these two nicely. You can criticize all of this, but I accomplished my task 10 out of 10. Without any ND (no discussion) or vague erroneous assumptions à la “let's execute Lizard; he is definitely Mafia” or “Sky is an Werewolf, I guarantee it,” I identified 2 negatives (and indicated a third) in just a few posts. But they didn't listen to me, precisely because of being “Proud but dumb.”
8. "Psychology."
Yes, that's it. What is meant by this word is a mystery. Well, you know how it happens with parrots: they hear an intelligent word from an educated white person – and repeat it. But they don't need the meaning. It's the same here. Many comfortably hide behind the word "psychology," putting absolutely nothing behind it. Not explaining, not understanding.
So pathetic.
In general, I understand that my ego bothers some people, and my behavior causes burning sensations in secret places, but these are absolutely not my problems. A person who came to play, but instead turns into stinky goo for personal squabbles and revenge for some lost game – there is no place for such a person here. Yes, I ridiculed dilettantes in general and Zybr in particular, but as was said, all of this was deserved. Dancing around aimlessly, meager analysis, lack of useful conclusions, boundless amounts of unfounded nonsense. I especially liked the post where half of my arguments were ignored, and half were clumsily mocked in the style of “Cock-a-doodle-doo, but everything is wrong.” Not even a hint of trying to understand, thoughtful analysis – just to refute and show their point of view, even if it is not based on anything substantial. This is sad. I don't want to have to show every time how one should play; keep that in mind.
I would also like to comment on the last day, which unexpectedly turned into an awful mess. Obvious things are not stated, simple phrases turn into aggressive mountains of poorly digested and dreary text, and lies are presented so crudely that you need to contain a spherical vacuum in your head to believe them. It’s sad, in short. Only Nebok pleased me with his clear thinking that day; well done.
