Pump it up. On the second level of Blood, with the Master of Siege skill, the catapult deals 6 damage per hit. And if there are also Orcish structures that add +1 damage to walls for creatures, then we destroy the walls and gates very quickly.
What about the catapult with a 3rd siege master skill destroying its own fortifications when it randomly attacks the walls, if someone near the fortifications is not paying attention? They could make it controllable in that case.

Don't take the 3rd siege master skill if you plan to attack with melee units.
It's surprising that the 2nd level of the siege master skill works in any battles, not just sieges.
I liked the catapult of the Haven faction; I used it to destroy the walls protecting the Fortress. The only downside is that it's very slow at destroying walls.
The Haven catapult fits the faction perfectly, and its appearance is pleasing to the eye. I voted for it.
The Inferno catapult appealed to me because it strongly resembles the Daedric siege engine from Oblivion. But not as much as the Haven one.
I didn't like the Necropolis catapult. A spider shooting beams is the worst catapult design in my opinion.
The Sanctuary catapult is well-made, but it didn't impress me very much.
The Stronghold catapult was surprising - they're using a cyclops as a siege engine for the second time (the first time was in Heroes of Might and Magic V). But overall, it's not very impressive.
Наш мир полон тайн и чудес. Многие их ищут, многим они вовсе не нужны, а многие даже не замечают их, не понимают что они вокруг нас, каждый день, везде. А эти чудеса порой, сокрыты в обычных, привычных предметах.
The "Catapult" of the Stronghold faction was surprising – a cyclops is used as a siege engine for the second time (the first time was in the fifth game). But it's not very effective.
for the third time. In the third Heroes game, cyclops also break down walls.
