Hello everyone. I'm new here, and like many of you, I'm a fan of the Heroes of Might and Magic III world. It's especially helpful for playing on the subway on my tablet.
My question is this:
1. I love playing random maps from "Armageddon's Blade" because you can create them endlessly. Recently, I learned about collectible artifacts and set out to collect them. During the game, I've already collected several variations. For example, "Well of Magic" and "Elixir of Life," but they won't combine into a single super-artifact. No notification appears offering to combine the collectible artifacts, or when I put them all on a hero and right-click on any of them, only its property is displayed, and nothing more happens. What's wrong?
2. I also downloaded "The Shadow of Death" and "The Restoration of Erathia" – I thought there wouldn't be this bug in them... but these series don't have random maps! And I was disappointed.

Please help me understand how collectible artifacts work!

You need to put some files into the “The Shadow of Death” folder, and then everything will work. Or, install the complete collection – the Platinum Edition.

And why create so many identical topics? Or do you think that the more you create, the more likely you are to succeed?

dnaop-wr, you should have edited the post before anyone saw it! ;) It's still not a bad idea to do so.
dan-air, regarding your question: as I understand it, you have the "Armageddon's Blade" version? If so, then it is impossible to collect composite artifacts in it, because they appeared later - in "The Shadow of Death"! Therefore, you need to install "The Shadow of Death" or "Complete Collection".
Random maps can be created in "The Shadow of Death" (in the editor), but a small patch is needed; it also unlocks the Conflux.

Is it possible to make disabled artifacts active?
