Posts from Мафия 39. Piece of emptiness for the small December.
And I'm not saying I did it "the right way." I just didn't understand what specific actions to take when you're playing as a Town member and you're framed with evidence. You used Arandor as an example, but for some reason, Reven, Tox, and Ple-Sen don't think that's how a Town member should behave. Even if two of them turned out to be Mafia, would they have written the same thing if they were Town members? I don't doubt it. The point of my posts was that messages in the style of "LOL, WE EXECUTED A TOWN MEMBER, BUT HE'S TO BLAME, HE DIDN'T DEFEND HIMSELF WELL ENOUGH, HA HA" start to become incredibly annoying, a silly attempt by the Town to justify itself. Yes, I couldn't find more convincing evidence, but how much convincing evidence did the other Town members find? Was I supposed to find more than all of them in less than a day? Okay. I hinted at my role, but apparently, no one understood. It wasn't even a hint; it was more like evidence, and they probably didn't even pay much attention to it. I didn't want to just reveal my role; I think that's against the rules, right? Well, if it's not, then okay, next time I'll be sure to hint at my role correctly, and maybe they won't execute me.

EVERYONE GOT SOAKED! WHAT THE HELL??? Rimpi, Rimpi)
About the game: Well, the city played worse than the other two teams. There's nothing to comment on here. Although, they accurately described Dragnil and Xostor's chances of the city winning. If you didn't see it, that's your problem. About the maniac: WELL, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, GUYS?? I completely agree with Vis that the maniac's chances in the game against the city need to be strengthened and balanced, but when this terminator dominates, ignoring, hiding, and killing a lot in one turn, and doesn't care about executions - it's just not right. NOW, LET'S GET TO THE DRAMA: ARE YOU GUYS COMPLETELY OUT OF YOUR MINDS??? WHAT IS THIS CHAT BETWEEN PLAYERS WHO HAVE NO RIGHT TO DISCUSS THE GAME??? Okay, one point about revealing roles in the game (hinting at them) - here, even Gorshok can be mentioned, and as was correctly said, strict rules need to be introduced, or any information in the game should be allowed. BUT YOUR INSANITY IS SIMPLY ASTONISHING. SOME KIND OF SKYPE CHATS, PRIVATE MESSAGES. ARE YOU GUYS FISH OR SOMETHING??? Vis, and you too. You played a great game, the setting was almost balanced, etc. BUT maybe you should ban half the players for this kind of behavior???
Separately about the team: we had a good lineup, although I don't know under what people it could be bad, everyone plays on the forum, even if not always fairly. It's a pity that Lorelei and Vis had internet problems, but they tried to find solutions and discussed plans with us as much as possible, thank you for that. I'll describe the others more precisely. Dragnil, Xostor, and Tox played as always at a high level, although according to messages in the game, it was probably not very noticeable to others. It was nice to play with them on the same team, because you get to know people from a different (better?) side. There were moments of disagreement, but it's just a game, and the outcome is what matters. We were in full force for half the game and generally carried. And we were originally saving my ultimate for Empty, but because of the crazy players with SKYPE, we decided to punish them, and that's why we used the ultimate. Overall, thank you Vis for the game - the only wish is to be stricter with the moderators. And thank you all for the fight, although the city just got lazy towards the end. Rimp is a good guy.)
Everyone saw the chances of winning. But there were also chances for the Mafia to lose, and that's not particularly cool. I hope I don't need to explain the moves. Although, it's understandable why the Mafia didn't like it, because Mana was chosen instead of them. If it had been the other way around, Mana wouldn't have liked it.
The point of my posts was that messages in the style of "LOL, WE EXECUTED THE CITY GOVERNOR, BUT HE WAS TO BLAME, HE DIDN'T DEFEND HIMSELF WELL ENOUGH" start to become incredibly annoying; it's a silly attempt by the city to justify itself.
Poor thing. Of course, a peaceful citizen shouldn't say anything at the execution and should put the noose around his own neck, then justify himself by saying he had nothing to say.
As usual, I started getting into the game midway through, already lying comfortably in my virtual grave. I can’t say that I had a super-useful role, because there was a non-zero chance that my spell simply wouldn’t work on anyone. I experienced a major facepalm when people started blatantly spamming in the private messages. As for the ending, I’ll refrain from commenting; I’ve already become indifferent to who wins, as long as someone does.
Poor thing. Of course, a peaceful player shouldn't say anything during the execution and should put the noose on themselves, then justify it to themselves by saying they had nothing to say.
In Mafia 29, you voted to eliminate me even though I was literally screaming that I was a peaceful player, and even hinted that my Knight, Hermi, wouldn't allow you to execute me, but no one listened. So, trying to defend yourself on the Hot Seat is often pointless. However, I would try it if I were in Haven's position.
The game turned out to be very interesting, if only because until the very last day it wasn't clear who would win. It's a pity that I died so early, but oh well. It was also interesting that all my predictions about the game turned out to be wrong. After I died on the first night, I decided that Tox was the killer, since I was the one who bribed him. But only after the third night, when the ultimate ability wasn't used, contrary to Tox's own opinion, it became clear what was really going on. I considered Hosa to be a member of the Mafia, and the more the game progressed, the more convinced I became. His excuses about corporate events looked about as convincing as Arky's excuses about Ragnarok last time. Again, he was executing innocent players, and there was a post where Revanka was revealed as the killer (I decided that this looked very much like him trying to whitewash himself). But it turned out that the truth was that corporate events were really to blame... Lizi somehow pleased me in this game (maybe because he expressed my thoughts, but in any case, I liked it, because usually he's quiet). And then there's our hero, Rimp. I really liked his game, and no matter how much the offended Mafia members cry about an overpowered killer, his victory is fully deserved. Against the backdrop of a clueless town and an average Mafia, he looked magnificent. His last moves were extraordinarily beautiful, and even at the beginning, it was good that he decided to start killing right away. Since I didn't notice any particular analytical skills during the day, it's clear that Rimp should be called the best player in this Mafia. Thank you for your attention :)
I would like to express my opinion regarding the violations. I don't know about the private messages in ICQ, but the Skype issue is a fact. Although I haven't read the posts in the Skype group, it seems excessive to me. Even on Heroes of Might and Magic forums, people don't behave like that in the chat. And yet, sometimes games are allowed through private messages there (and even then, they don't act so rudely, because it requires tact and caution). So, the offenders should think about their behavior and not repeat such mistakes, so as not to put other players in an awkward position.
Someone mentioned an overpowered character, and it might be true, but I was afraid of the Doctor's ultimate ability, so after Spira's death, I felt relieved. As the log shows, I started pretending to be a Medic from the second night; thanks to whoever suggested it at the beginning of the game, although I don't remember who it was. And after killing Neyra, when she wasn't considered a Medic, I felt free to continue the charade. Vissey impressed me again; in his games, I'm not just a minor, insignificant character. :) Playing as a Mana user is awesome! 8 kills and the ninth one right before the finale. : Thanks to everyone for the game!
In principle, I agree with everyone who has spoken before, to some extent. So, I won't elaborate on my thoughts about this game.
However, I apologize to the players, and especially to Kitz and Lynx, for my behavior. I know I acted rather rudely, but it was just role-playing. I decided to act like someone who is "bitter about the world, resentful towards others for not supporting his plans to fight against the mafia, and often panicking because of it." So, if I went too far anywhere, I sincerely apologize.
Poor guy. Of course, a peaceful player shouldn't say anything during the execution and should put the noose on himself, then justify himself by saying that he had nothing to say.
Of course, the peaceful player is to blame for his own execution. The Mafia and the other peaceful players have nothing to do with it; he's voting against himself and finding evidence against himself.
