The Prodigy

And the coordinator is spamming and going off-topic! :3

Okay, let's get serious.

And my favorite band was for a long time, before I met Slipknot, and until I understood all the delights of good metal.

>Slipknot >good metal
lolwut?

Well, that's not something I can answer. I didn't listen to Slipknot much, just a little, and I didn't really enjoy it. But I know that almost all schoolchildren start listening to metal with this band. As for me, when I listened to them and decided that I didn't really like them, I had already listened to a lot of other metal.
I don't think Ling still likes Slipknot.

When you were leaving comments on my rap tracks, didn't you think that I might be in a similar situation? Oh yeah, prodigies. It's listenable, including their latest album.

When I was writing you a comment in the thread, I thought I should have put two smileys, or even three, but I didn't, and now I regret it).

1992 Experience 1997 The Fat Of The Land 2009 Invaders Must Die

These are great albums. I don't really remember/know the other two, I'll listen to them more.

1994 - Music For The Jilted Generation is probably my favorite. Invaders Must Die, they say it's a pop song, I don't know, I think it's good, although they've deviated from the established style. Experience is not bad! Your The Fat Of The Land didn't really appeal to me at the time.

Invaders Must Die

I only liked one track.

I remember listening to "2004 Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" four years ago. I listened to it once and said in a very pretentious way: "The Prodigy are dead!" At that time, it seemed to me that the band had gone into "rap and R'n'B," and I absolutely hated those genres, thinking they were for the masses and generally stupid genres. Now I would listen to rap and R&B.

I only liked one track.

Also, I don't understand where people see pop music in it.

I liked the track Break & Enter the most.

Omen

And this one is just overrated.

I thought the first two (IMD and Omen) were really good, and the rest weren't bad either. Klov, what about Music For The Jilted Generation? That's the very essence of everything best in Prodigy! The legendary Voodoo People and all that.

what about Music For The Jilted Generation?

I even have the disc somewhere (or I used to). Probably the only musical one. Actually, it was the first album I ever listened to.

Klov, what about Music For The Jilted Generation?

There aren't as many songs from it as from 1992 and 1997 that I remember (i.e., I didn't listen to them regularly back then, it's been a long time), and now, because of that, I don't feel like listening to the album until I've listened to the others. But I'll get to this album eventually.

Porridge.
