Thank you, Necromancer. I have one more small request. Teach me the Polymorph spell. I want to be able to transform into a Guardian at any moment, consuming mana, and then, when I want, revert to my original form.

Finally, we have our weapons! This “sword” of theirs is completely unbalanced! How can you fight with something like that? Oh, never mind. Let’s run!

As long as things were going well, there was no sign of pursuit. Something about this felt familiar: the chase, the need to leave Irrilot, the city gates, it even seemed like the guards at the gate were the same as last time, I thought as I walked towards the city exit with my hands symbolically tied behind my back. Suddenly, a horn sounded behind us, announcing our escape, and the city gates, which had been open, began to close. We needed to decide quickly, and I looked questioningly at my "escorts," as if to say: what are we going to do?...

- Ah, that's easy. - said Kaspar. Let's go, the newcomers need open space for this, otherwise who knows what you might turn into... - the undead grinned slightly - remembering the old days when he was alive and just beginning to learn the basics of magic...

I know this city well, and I also know the secret passages. You can use them to escape the capital! Actually, they were built for sorties during a siege, but in our current situation...

I'm going to play as a Necromancer. But I hope it doesn't require any special mark or insignia.

- Arthes, lead the way! We completely trust you! :)
Kaspar made an indistinct sound, which he used to make when he was alive, and it was meant to be laughter. - No, a brand isn't necessary for that.
P.S. By the way, Verdan has gained a lot of agility during all these adventures.

- I know a couple of those too, - I said, quickly untying the ropes from my hands and taking my weapon from my comrades, - but I've never used them. So, lead the way, Arthes.

-“So, follow me! There’s a tower here, and the secret passage starts right there. It’s good that it’s a secret passage! No one knows it exists. I hope… Let’s go quietly, the tower isn’t far.”
We approach the tower without any incidents. At the entrance, I remember that they took my keys. The door is old and rotten, so it will creak loudly if we try to break it. Luckily, it’s not difficult.
“Comrades, open the door!”

- First, imagine who you want to transform into...- that's how the former paladin learned the transformation spell (Avenger level-up).

I transform into a guard of my level. I am wearing the armor of Irrilot's guard. I appear to be around 30 years old. Young.

"So, we'll have to break it down. Watch out!"
With a powerful blow, I kicked the door open. It seemed like no one heard. I put the door back in place, and we hurried to hide.
