The creator of this topic clearly didn't need the cheats for testing maps;). And testing can be done in other ways. So, in this matter, I agree with Lider1.

elizbar1967, I agree with you; cheat codes can be very helpful when analyzing a map after playing against someone, when testing it, or during an offline tournament. But do you really think that's what he needs it for? I'm more than sure that he wants the cheats to work online :D

Do these trainers get ratings for playing millions of scenarios, or do they just play them?

I hope there are pros; it seems there are players who are far beyond our capabilities, although we shouldn't rule out ordinary cheaters either.

And regarding cheat codes, there shouldn't be any. These are ranked campaigns; explain what the point is of playing with cheats? Is it really that difficult to win even on the easiest difficulty against a computer that only knows how to throw a fireball into a group of friendly units, regardless of the character's level?

That's a valid point. Ubisoft organizes various contests here, and players receive dynasty points for good performance. If people play with cheats, it all loses its meaning.

Cheats can actually be useful in such situations.

I've never played games with cheat codes. I don't see the point. The most I've ever used codes for is to skip levels when save files were corrupted.

So, if someone wants to, let them use it – they’re just ruining their own gaming experience. And if someone creates maps, they know that they want to play them themselves just as much, if not more, than after a month, because otherwise it becomes uninteresting, and you kind of forget where you placed whom and how many, and it feels like something new again.

In Heroes 4, I was a real cheater. But after that, I didn't feel like playing anymore (I played like that for about a month).
But I still want to try out the codes in Heroes:cool:
No offense, just don't tell me that I should play the game properly and use my brain:D :smile36:
