Regarding insufficient video memory, I can only suggest going to "My Computer," clicking on "Properties," selecting "Advanced system settings," going to the "Advanced" tab, choosing "Performance," then going to the "Performance" tab, and setting the virtual memory size to 1.5 times your RAM.

I've completed 2 campaigns, playing as Necropolis and Sylvan, and started playing as Barbarians. In the second mission, when the computer takes its turn, the screen freezes in the game.
