Hello everyone.
I can't launch the game.
A window pops up saying "Might & Magic Heroes VI is not working".
I've already tried reinstalling the game, checked for viruses, and restarted my computer.
The disc is a licensed copy.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me out. Here's the situation: I installed Heroes, almost finished the first introductory campaign. Then patch 1.1.1 came out, and I had problems installing it, so I had to reinstall. Before that, I saved my saves from My Documents. Then I copied them back, played further, and now I've completed mission 4 as a Necromancer. When I go to the campaign selection screen after finishing the level, the Necromancer campaign is no longer there, and the first introductory campaign is also supposedly not completed. Which files are responsible for this? There are *.sav files in the folder, as well as campaign_*.dat files. In my save backup, there were two campaign files, now there are 5, but the situation is still the same. Can anyone suggest a solution so I don't have to replay the game, or at least provide a save file where the Necromancer campaign has been completed?

GUYS, please help... I have a problem with the game: I bought the official version with DLC, installed it, it automatically patched, and when I launch it, it shows "Ubisoft game launcher: error code 2" and doesn't start. How can I fix this?

I tried setting the shortcut properties to offline mode, and it works... but I'd like to try playing online. HELP!

Winner, I suggest adding information from the forum to the FAQ. Yesterday, I helped a friend, and this was the only thing that helped. It fixes the error with the launcher without reinstalling the system. :smile20:

Disable antivirus programs, firewalls, and the Windows firewall.

Open the Control Panel - Programs and Features, and uninstall Ubisoft Game Launcher.

Try installing the updated UbisoftGameLauncherInstaller.exe client.

Open the hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts).
If you had a pirated version of the game installed, the following lines will be in the hosts file:

127.0.0.1 static3.cdn.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 ubisoft-orbit.s3.amazonaws.com
127.0.0.1 onlineconfigservice.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 orbitservice.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 ubisoft-orbit-savegames.s3.amazonaws.com

Delete everything except:
127.0.0.1 localhost

If you have the Nod32 antivirus installed, completely uninstalling it may help.

I had the same problem, black screen and crash on my laptop. I have an Nvidia mobile graphics card.

I found a solution that works for me:
Add this new key to the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers]
"tdrLevel"=dword:00000000
then restart, the game will launch.

And now, in Russian, about the panacea solution. To do this, you need to create a file called vasja.txt, copy the following into it:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers]
"tdrLevel"=dword:00000000

rename it to vasja.reg and run it. Then restart your computer, and everything should work!

I need help; I haven't been able to play Heroes 6 properly for days. The game crashes every few times when I enter a town! Specifically, when entering a town!
My computer specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo
Motherboard: Asus P5K SE/EPU
Graphics card: GeForce 9800 GT
RAM: 2 GB
Operating system: Windows XP
Sound card: Integrated Realtek ALC883
I'm playing with the maximum graphics settings. In the sound options, I've tried turning high-quality sound on and off. I've also installed the latest drivers for the graphics card and sound card from the official websites.

I think the problem is related to the sound. When entering a town, the background music changes abruptly. (This is just my subjective opinion.)

It seems that dynastydata.bin and the campaign files are responsible for this.

When launching, it displays: "Connection failed. The provided key cannot activate the expected privileges." How do I enter a second key?

This means that out of the two keys you entered, you didn't enter the one needed for activation. Did you have two keys in the box?

I'll start from the beginning... I bought a DVD box at Uralton, Chelyabinsk.
I came home, installed it, activated the key, and everything seemed to work fine... The only glitches were a flickering cursor and, when loading a save, not everything appeared on the map immediately... it gradually did.
I didn't notice that the launcher didn't automatically update the patch... I played until I completed the introductory campaign and all the missions for Necropolis... I must say that there were no other glitches besides the ones mentioned. Then I manually installed patch 1.1.387 (or something like that) first, and then 1.1.1... and you know what? Some patches are designed not to fix errors, but to add them instead!!!... It became impossible to play! When loading saves, the screen stopped moving... neither with the mouse nor with the arrow keys on the keyboard. You could only click on the map on the left side to go to the point you needed.
When attacking the "Water" Castle, when the story hero appeared and started talking in the message window, not only was there no voice, but the "next" button didn't work, so I had to click "next" to close the window...
My friend, who also bought a licensed copy, has a problem where the game freezes during battles with heroes, and either the game exits to Windows and displays an error, or you have to exit manually using Ctrl+Alt+Del.
Both of us have powerful computers, by the way, and we don't have any slowdowns in the game even on the maximum settings.

I updated the drivers for my GeForce card on the official website, and it helped. The map started loading immediately, and the voices appeared; it seems to have fixed something.

Hello everyone. I need your help.
I need a copy of the registry entries after installing patch 1.1.
I have a copy of the game installed with patch 1.1. When installing from images of the game version 1.0 and then copying over with the patch, everything goes normally, and the game version is displayed correctly, BUT patch 1.1.1 cannot be installed.
Please help if you can.
I can't download patch 1.1 for certain reasons.
I will make the necessary path corrections in the registry myself.
