I took this from Google, delete it if it's not allowed :) According to a representative of the Heroes-fr.com website, who met with Erwan Le Breton, 2 more expansions for Heroes VI are expected, each of which will add 2 new factions (this is an unofficial statement for now).

Цикл "Закадычные враги": "Особенное гостеприимство, "Супероружие", "Меж молотом и наковальней"
"Падение Шантири"
Кампания для "Кодекса Войны"
"Выбор Сагиттеля"
I would like to see mages, dark elves, and the elemental castle, just like in the third part.

1) Warlocks (it's a shame that, as I suspect, they will be easy to build, because they are a strong faction (imbalance (in the sense that if they are strong, they should be expensive) is my opinion); the composition is almost irrelevant, since you can always create a good combination (I mean, the developer), taking creatures from the 1st, 3rd, and 5th tiers (I haven't played the 4th, so I don't know what's what there));
2) Dwarves (without their overpowered unit for defending the castle).
It's a pity that there won't be "swamps" in the sixth installment:(. I would have liked to see these guys there first.
It's strange, but I also really wanted to see them, but I didn't!
Besides you, does anyone else want to see them?
Yes, and many others!
Theoretically, the swamp could be linked to the beastmen, of course (those created by mages). The question is that there are almost no plot developments for them, while there is something to add to the story for the other factions, so in my opinion, they are a higher priority.
Those created by mages – it's a slightly flawed idea. You can add a couple of units, mentioning that they were created by them (with a fantastic story about why and how, and that they didn't stay with their creators). Only a couple, and even then, because of the shortage of units.
A faction specializing in weakening and poisoning.
In my opinion, the Basilisk and Wyverns are their hallmark.
Regarding plot developments, let them brainstorm so that in the next parts, they or other developers will figure out what to do with the swamp, which was so beautifully depicted in the previous series.
And in general, you can quite easily fit the swamp dwellers in between such giants as the Undead, Humans, and Demons.
The main focus should be on the problems with Sanctuary, so to speak, the confrontation between the dirty and the clean
