What did you expect? Super ability is a matter of luck; you need to choose skills in a specific order from the very beginning. Search the internet; there's a scanner that shows which skills you'll get. And in general, it's not worth relying on it, IMHO. By the time you reach it, you won't need it anymore.

I've already downloaded one scanner, but it's for version 1.4, and I have version 1.0. That's how I'm dealing with it.

Specifically for the Elves, it doesn't matter; the skill tree hasn't changed...

This ability seems to hinder the gameplay. You want to create the perfect hero according to your preferences, but chasing after a specific ability, you end up getting it and not being happy because you had to sacrifice your favorite attributes!:(

That’s usually how it happens, especially with the High Elves (Ash, reward, enchanted tent) and regular Elves (fight to the last), and Humans (same Ash). But in general, it’s easier for Humans to get the super ability, and it’s not necessary, IMO, because it’s not very good.

Today I reached level 33, but I still didn't get the ability. The game started giving me garbage towards the end (I'm playing as Elves). I'll try on a different map, although in principle, it's not needed (my hero has +5 luck and morale, -3 luck, -2 morale for the enemies I'm fighting) ;)

Well, don't forget that your opponent's hero wasn't just playing around either, so it's not a given. A powerful army with a hero who has well-chosen stats will help you. By the way, did you choose something like "Battle to the Last"?

Want a fun trick? It's easier to get the ultimate ability for Necropolis and Academy! For Necropolis, just collect the Cloak of Deathly Shadows and 2 Rings of Broken Spirit and equip them (if they are on the map, of course) and use Banshee's Wail during battle.
It's a bit more complicated for Academy – you need to max out all spells to Expert and visit a lot of castles (and if you're lucky, you'll get all the spells there).
True, Dark Elves can conquer 10 castles (of course, Dungeons) and they will get the ultimate ability. That's the trick.:D :D :D :D :D

by the way, you took some kind of "useless" artifact, like "Battle to the Last"?

This, as you put it, "rubbish" allows Osiris to kill most level 7 monsters and phoenixes as early as the 2nd week of the game, I think I don't need to explain what advantage this gives...

2 Silovik For example, there's a duel map where the passage to the center, with lots of experience, mines, monsters, and artifacts, is guarded on both sides by phoenixes. I, playing as Osiris, reach the center in the 2nd week, while my opponent arrives 2-3 weeks later... feel the difference? And guess who wins the map after that... And all this is thanks to the "fight to the last" ability.
