The artwork for the creatures from Heroes of Might and Magic V has disappeared from the website. What is the reason, and where can I find them (official sources)?

In the file archive, right? I understand, the artwork wasn't uploaded to the site, and the link changed, so that's it. I'll try to fix this now.
No, unfortunately. It seems that Nival Interactive has removed their website, and these artworks are no longer visible there, or on zzime either... If anyone knows how to get the artwork, I'd also like to hear about it.

I believe that currently, there is only one way to find these official artworks without any website watermarks. If someone has saved them on their hard drive, or if they are somewhere on the web, gathering them piece by piece would be the only option. I would be extremely grateful to everyone who could help with this.

Librus, if it's still relevant, has restored most of the artwork from the file archive and even added some new pieces. Plus, this won't be lost anymore, as the file archive now contains the actual images, not just links to them.

Have you checked there recently? There used to be links to Nival's website. The site was shut down. Someone from the modding community restored some of it. But it's the same content that's currently floating around the internet – smaller, cropped, etc.
So, the topic hasn't been abandoned.

Well, uh, okay. The only place to find it is in the archive I linked, or on Google. If it's not on our site or theirs, it's unlikely to be found anywhere else.

Google doesn't really help in this regard. I've only found cropped and modified versions after searching.

Possibly. I recommend checking out the archive, as some of the artwork seems to be in a decent resolution. For example, the archer is in a higher resolution than in your example.

Yes, there are some things there too. I downloaded all of this a long time ago, but it's a pity that it's not quite what I'm looking for. =(
