Death's March is present, defeated dragons and witches with mummies and scorpions + Black Magic. When everyone died, and only 25,000 witches with whips remained, I started reviving them with mummies; their life quickly became = 1, and 53 Scorpions cut them down with one tail strike. But the obelisk turned out to be useless! There's not enough intelligence to grasp the location of the bear's thigh, damn it! And without the Tear, you drown in the sand. Maybe it's time to unravel the intrigue?
The "Doom March" spell is effective; I defeated dragons and sorceresses using mummies and scorpions, along with Black Magic. When everyone else died, and only 25,000 sorceresses with whips remained, I started reviving them with mummies. Their health quickly became 1, and 53 scorpions could take them down with a single tail strike. But the obelisk turned out to be useless! It requires a level of thinking to understand the location of the bear's thigh, damn it! And without the "Tears in the Sand" artifact, you'll drown. Maybe it's time to unravel the mystery?
Obelisks depend on their quantity. That is, for each subsequent one, the bonus is greater, and it doesn't matter where it was found. :) The "thigh" refers to one of the stars in the constellation Ursa Major; in Russian, it literally means "thigh" - that's where you need to look (Wikipedia can help). You don't drown without the "Tears in the Sand" artifact; you drown without the "Doom March" and "Asch's Blessing" perks. ;)
For almost a week now, I've been playing this map in the evenings, and IMHO, it's very interesting. I especially enjoyed today – I haven't had this much fun tormenting anyone in a long time, especially these poor, incomplete five thousand archers:
And the battle for the "Scroll of the City Portal" turned out to be EVEN more beautiful:
The map is simply AMAZING, I haven't had this much fun in a long time, it's a shame there's so little time.

Yeah:rolleyes:. I didn't even have the patience to watch the videos to the end... And to play myself on the Hive with such a group... By the way, I made a discovery for myself - Hives also block the opponent's movement? I didn't even know:eek:
By the way, hives can be quite effectively used against the undead :smile14:, and these two battles against manticores that outnumbered my forces significantly are a clear illustration of that. :) Today, I had another free day off and indulged in my favorite game – I defeated a barbarian, a necromancer, and a manticore guarding the Tree of Silvanus and the purple tent without any losses, and a bunch of other weaker garrisons. Now, only offspring and witches with black dragons guarding the obelisk remain on the map. It's the end of the 4th month. I also defeated the phoenixes guarding the trident without any losses; the ballista doesn't count – it regenerates after the battle, and after I switched from "machine control" to "luck" due to "divine favor," it's as useful as an umbrella for a fish . However, I haven't decided what to do with the offspring yet; they have a very powerful magical (Tanor's) attack at the beginning – there are simply no troops left after their first turn. I could, of course, spend a couple of months gathering strength and "crush them with brute force," but I'll try to find a more original solution (unfortunately, the obsidian golem trick didn't work) :smile05:.

Yes, the hives are not very helpful here:D. But if you change their orientation (in magic only):smile26: - they become quite good. And having them in your army is a dream come true:smile10:.
What's the point of changing the magic orientation if your turn simply doesn't come? Their initiative is 16, and even if you reduce it with artifacts to 13, they still go first. And their attack with 9 +9 of offspring is so strong that an army of 100 titans and other minor units (proportionally) is wiped out immediately, and it's simply impossible to build up large forces in 4 months (maybe I'm just missing something).
Если споришь глупцом - срочно проверь не делает ли он тоже самое!:smile13: Древняя восточная мудрость (вольный перевод)
I thought the same thing until the map author gave me a replay where he easily and without losses defeats 16 Imps with a small group of Mummies.

I completed this map in 169 turns in hero mode. Now that I know all its secrets, I think the result can be significantly improved (by a couple of weeks at least), but I don't really feel like starting all over again (maybe in a couple of months).
P.S. I traditionally defeated Orodiy with chaos creatures and small undead, additionally using their suffering ability and teleporting them out of harm's way, and resurrecting them with a hero.
P.P.S. By the way, what's the point of all these horseshoes? You can't exchange them for experience at the altar because the hero is a drug addict, and there's nowhere else to put them.

Money, just money... Artifacts are sold... And it's also cool :)
Another point. I still want to clarify: But you don't need to grab and use everything... The same tear can confuse the player, although in reality, it won't be that useful (unless you want to increase your army to quickly kill a large number of creatures), the same obelisk with a large army, which is only for those who like to play with large armies. Some relics and the ability to hire creatures can save a lot of time without resorting to "cheesy" tactics. But I know that if a player learns about these tactics, they will definitely want to use them! Others enjoy not the speed of completion but "clearing everything," and for them, this will only be a +.
