+1. The same standard trio and quintet. I can't even imagine what the first and second parts were like, and I also can't imagine that anyone still plays them now.
Смысла нет, но вы держитесь там. Удачи, здоровья, хорошего настроения! И пока в кармане пачка милкиуэйев - значит все не так уж плохо на сегодняшний день
Third, third, and once again, third:). And specifically, "The Shadow of Death." The fifth is good, but if you look closely, something feels off, you could even say something is completely wrong; this is both its strength and its weakness. The second is also good; I consider it a classic, but the third, in my opinion, is the BEST.
I play 1 when I want something simple, I don't play 2 because it's neither fish nor fowl, I play 3 when I'm tired of 5, I play 4 when I want something like Heroes, but not quite, and I just play 5.

Why 5 is better than 3:
Graphics (obvious)
Music (subjective)
Balance
Alt-upgrades
Different faction tactics
Skill system
Interface
Why 3 is better than 5:
Music (subjective)
More artifacts, castles, and spells.
Division of spells by elements (I've always liked that)

Oh, yes! 5 has a better story (a demon in love and a necromancer saving the world), and 3 has better campaigns (you can choose which one to play) and doesn't lag.
I like the fourth one the most; it had a good concept that wasn't fully realized. Overall, it's more enjoyable. After that, I like the fifth and then the third.
In my opinion, the 5th unit is the coolest in the game, and I especially love the one with the nickname "Dogodaetsya," as well as the undead. :smile51: :smile51: :smile51:
The first one is appealing because it's simple and cartoonish. The second one is a classic. And I love the fourth one for everything. For its battle tactics, the fairytale-like beauty of the Axeoth landscapes, for almost abandoning the grid-based movement, for its unique music, for its well-designed factions that are opposites of each other, and of course, for the REAL HEROES participating in the battle, and separately, for the crawling monsters. In short, for everything. Well, the least successful installments (no matter what anyone says) are the third and fifth. The third one because it lost its charm and atmosphere, the graphics leave something to be desired, some strangely designed cities, etc. The fifth... The single-player campaign is good, yes. Graphics, story, music (although not great), factions, and... balance. But it's not for me. Upgrades (yes, there should be a lot of good things, but this is already too much), strange units (just look at those phoenixes and manticores), and a lack of heroism (just look at these objects, overloaded units, the mention of a dungeon... You can clearly feel something is off). Well... to each their own.
