Interesting. I'm really curious about what will happen if you start watching a replay online... If it reveals the entire map, that might be a bit of a problem. :)

Well, at least there's an HD mod that tracks whether the opponent has the editor open. (if they also have HD)... Although, if someone really wants to, they'll still find a way... :(

Basically, enjoy. There is no English version of this program, so if someone were to figure it out, translate it, maybe even improve it, and, even better, integrate it into the game, that would be great. Also, it would be great if someone could figure out how to run the second, new version; it simply won't launch for me. It's more convenient and has some new features. And with it, you can view games from our Chinese friends, and there are many of them; I can post the links later. The old version doesn't play them.

It's crazy: I found a website through Google, registered, and downloaded the old and new versions (because there's nothing in the links in the thread).
Version 0725 glitched for me - it crashed when I tried to play a replay.
I launched the new 090814 version through the old launcher (exe).
All the Russian text in the game turns into Chinese (so it's better to use the English version of the game), but at least you can save and play battle replays. I didn't like that you have to choose a file name to save the battle replay before each battle.
Otherwise, it seems to work. It's not compatible with the HD mod.

Is it possible to somehow adapt the program for HD or even modernize it?

Well, I guess I could optimize the HD for the game, but I won't be doing that (I don't have time for it).
I still don't like how replays are implemented. Basically, it's just replays of battles, and they're tedious to record, view, and store.
I envision (and plan) a complete replay, with everything that was on the screen - visiting towns, buying an army, distributing skills, etc. In short, it would be like watching a live broadcast. This is achievable with a small replay size; it just requires a focused effort. I'm slowly developing a plan for its implementation in my head; for now, I'm working on everything else.
