Synopsis:
Through betrayal and bloodshed, a new king came to power. His demon minions commit injustices until, one night, a heavily armed warrior arrives in the city. Covered in weapons, armor, and scars, he calls himself the Black Swordsman. The size of his sword is only matched by his hatred for the king and his demons.
Thus, "Berserk" is essentially a medieval war drama, with numerous elements of fantasy and horror. The central focus of the entire narrative is the life path of a former mercenary, now a demon hunter, Guts. The plot of "Berserk" literally plunges us into a whirlwind consisting of betrayal, fate, magic, demons, and, of course, elves, etc.
"We must take fate into our own hands and not allow it to decide how we live and how we die" - this is the main idea of "Berserk," which is revealed to us throughout the anime series. At the same time, it explores the question of how far a person can go and how much they can sacrifice to achieve their dream.

I recommend it to those who haven't seen it. Those who have seen it, let's discuss.

I'll answer. There is a sequel. At least—there was. A bloody 3D action game based on the "Berserk" series was released for the DreamCast console. Casca survived after the festival, as did Guts, but she lost her mind from the unimaginable shock. She began to resemble a small child. The two of them became wanderers. Guts' new goal is to find a way to restore Casca's sanity. In the game, the Black Swordsman gained a new friend—Puck. A little elf who imagined that Guts' traveling bag was his home. I think the developers added him more for comic relief, because in the game, as in the anime, it is drama upon drama, blood upon blood, tragedy upon tragedy. If anyone is interested, I can tell you the plot of the game. What I have written now is just the general situation we have at the start; the plot itself is much more convoluted.

Ah, someone tried to get me into the manga based on this cartoon, reassuring me that there aren't any big eyes. The fairy is awesome.

In Japanese manga, it's always one of two extremes: either it's amazing, or it's like Sailor Moon.

Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage, right? I played it! Awesome! It was brutal, though...
And all those bloody battles, and the way Guts (:) ) dealt with the bandits in the first episode of the game shocked me:eek: And then... zombies, a flower that turns everyone into zombies, a hellish child (it makes you want to vomit, no joke), a king who seemed so kind.... An amazing game:)

True, Sword of the berserk!:) It's just that it's not quite zombies there. This flower – mandrake – took control of people's minds or something like that. And the child is really creepy; even the final boss looks like a fluffy sheep compared to him:)
I found the mini-game that unlocks after completing the game to be amusing. You have to defend against mandrake sprouts with Pak!:) I laughed:D
